I know we all hate Kim and don't understand how he still has Monkey Miraculous after "derision," but please, read my theory and thoughts about that.
His superhero is based on the Monkey King. Monkey miraculous - it's circlet that he wore, but it's notable that Sun Wukong received it as a punishment - wearing the circlet caused him a lot of pain and allowed Xuanzang to tame and control Wukong's behavior to some extent.
I thought it would be interesting that Kim would later suffer from miraculous, and it would be a kind of punishment for him for all the things he had done.
