..... what else should he have done? Genuine question. What should Luke have done diffrently? What was "the right way"? The gods weren't gonna listen to arguments. The gods weren't gonna answer to prayers and asking.

The gods all speak only one language, and that language is violence and fear.

I mean.... I think you all forgot why the gods listened to Percy in the first place at the end. The gods listened to Percy due to Luke having been so incredibly close to overthrowing them.

The only reason the gods listened was because they , at least for a brief amount of time, no longer held the monopoly of power. The only way to get through to them is violence and pain. Luke just had one wrong ally but at the core? Building an army and starting a revolt? That was the only way.

I didn't fail, I merely succeeded in an unexpected way The system is not... fixed but it is better, and had I not taken action then nothing would have changed.
