Ok, so the context of that original post was that I have been not-so-silently obsessing over this game for well over a decade, but basically never interacting with the fandom or even knowing where in the depths of social media they were. Yall couldda been on Facebook for all I knew! I dont use many social sites, I have no idea. So I make this shitpost about finding out the (probably not super active) SPM fandom has been on Tumblr this whole time and my very offbeat humor about my own relationship with the game and ol jesterman mcmagicpants only to find everyone going "oh yeah, mood." At my eldritch dimentio assessment and expanding on the joke, and I feel like I just made first contact. I'm not alone in the universe! There is intelligent(???) Life out there that talks about SPM like I do! What the ever loving heck!

Friend: So, are you going to go hang out with the Super Paper Mario fandom on tumblr now that you found them?

Me: Well, I’d like to, but I don’t think I can talk about this game like a normal, sane person, you know?

Friend: I mean it’s tumblr, no one talks about anything like a normal, sane person there. Just tell everyone Dimentio is your comfort character and you’ll be fine.

Me: I mean… I dunno, I’d call something like Taranza or Wormmon a comfort character, Dimentio is more like-

My thoughts: The eldritch monstrosity that sought me out and imprinted on me at a young age, marking me forever and leaving me a shadow of my former self. Little do they know though, marking me will be their downfall, for this obsession has left me to study their every move, so that when they return to claim me I will be ready.

Me: - A frienemy?
