   ❝   T-Traveller ,   hey ‼   Oh ,   not  you  as  well   …   ❞    His  tail  seemed  to  be  the  centre  of  attention  as  of  late  ;  or  perhaps  it  had  been  that  pesky  Yae  Miko  who’d  gotten  into  his  head.    At  least ,   it  was  safe  to  say ,   that  woman  was  far  from  his  mind  at  current ,   for  his  attention  now  remained  solely  on  the  sensation  in  his  tail ,   and  of  the  fingers  brushing  through  it.    It’s  shameful  how  he  so  visibly  shivers  at  the  touch ,   enough  for  his  fur  to  stand  on  ends  and  ears  to  fall  flat.   Had  it  not  been  for  the  red  which  quickly  spread  across  his  face  it  might  have  appeared  threatening ,   and  Gorou  does  take  note  of  this  of  course.

    All  of  team  Urameshi  can  say  without  a  doubt  the  scariest  and  most  dangerous  of  them  all  is  Kurama  bet.   Hiei  might  beat  you  up  and  maim  you  /  kill  you  ,  but  Kurama  has  plants  that  can  and  will  keep  you  alive  and  regenerate  your  body  so  people  can  keep hacking  into  you  as  much  as  they  want.   You  think  it’s  Hiei  that  does  the  harsh  interrogating?   That  because  the  last  resort  is  Kurama ,   and  it  would  be  brutal.   No  good  cop  bad  cop  they  both  bad  cops.

    Surprise  is  quick  to  dawn  his  expression ,   a  once  stern  and  steady  gaze  widening  almost  too  innocently  for  a  murderous  criminal ,   whether  former  or  not.   He  doesn’t  believe  that  Yusuke  would  joke  about  such  things ,   he  could  be  as  emotionally  closed  off  as  they  come ,   to  an  extent  even  Hiei  would  comment  on.   So  he’s  more  then  aware  that  this  was  an  honest  truth  that  Yusuke  would  once  again  surprise  him  with  this  sincerity.   For  he  was  the  fool  who  had  blindly  put  his  faith  in  Hiei  when  others  would  know  better ,   especially  after  the  boys  attempted  murder by  his  hands   …   and  still  he’d  put  his  life  in  his  care  countless  times  since  then.
