Sweet as Sugar Pairing: Randy/Luna

I combed my hair in a rush. I couldn't believe I had overslept! Again! This was the third time this week I didn't wake up to my alarm. I grabbed my bag and ran out the door. I hope Randy is still waiting for me at the gate.

Just as I had that thought, a familiar little bear came up to me.

"Good morning Taffy. Where's Randy?" I asked in a cheerful tone.

Taffy looked at me worriedly before he spoke. "Master has been taken by Klaus! We have to save him!" he exclaimed.

I gave a small laugh as Taffy pulled on my hand. Randy had been trying as hard and long as possible to avoid doing his Prefect work. My guess is that Klaus had finally found him and dragged him to the their shared office. I could only imagine what Klaus had said to my pink-haired boyfriend.

I slowed Taffy down so I could tell him what really happened. "Taffy, Randy just has to do some work. There's no need to rescue him." I calmly explained.

Suddenly, I had an idea.  "Hey Taffy, how about after classes you and I make Randy some treats?"

"Master would like that!"

"So it's a plan then?" He nodded his head excitedly.

I agreed to met Taffy at the girls' dormitory gate so we could surprise Randy. I checked the time on my watch. I had five minutes to get to class. I ran as fast as my legs would carry me. I had just sat down in my seat as the bell for class rang out.

Headmaster Randolph walked into the classroom with his usual smile on his face.

"Good morning class. Today we will pick up where we left off on high-end magical creatures. Turn your textbooks top page 107."

And with that, I began my day of classes.

Lunch finally rolled around, and I decided that I would spend it with Amelia for a change instead of going to the Prefect's office

I walked down the hall where I spotted Amelia talking to a few of our friends. I tapped on her shoulder to get her attention. She turned around and smiled when she saw me.

"Hey Luna! What's up?"

"Nothing, I just thought I would have lunch with my best friend." I said as I  returned her smile.

"Well shall we head to the cafeteria then?" She said as she linked her arm with mine.

We talked about the upcoming field trip and what places we should go shopping. The walk wasn’t very long, and Amelia started telling me about the boy in her class that she seemed to really like. 

We sat down at the end of the table closest to the window after we got our food. I began telling Amelia about my plan to surprise Randy later this afternoon. 

“That’s so sweet of you Luna! I’m sure he’ll love it!” she squealed as we dug into our food. 

“So, tell me more about this mystery guy of yours!” I wanted to know more details about who my best friend was interested in. 

“Well, he’s sort of tall, and he has the most beautiful eyes. Whenever we talk I always get lost in his eyes. He’s so cute! Ugh! I wish he could see me in a romantic way!” Amelia gushed about her crush.

“Well? Who is he?” I asked excitedly.

“I can’t tell you yet silly! If I did, who knows what you would about it.” She joked. 

“Well, whenever you’re ready to reveal his identity, I’m here!” 

We laughed as we finsihed up our meals. Only a few more classes and then my plan could comence. 

Finally, the bell ending the last class of the day rang. I hurriedly packed my stuff up and raced to meet Taffy. I spotted the cheerful bear waiting for me on the bench outside the girls’ dorms.

“Ready Taffy?”

“Taffy ready! I can’t wait to give the treat to Master!” He was too cute sometimes.

I picked him up and went into the dorms. We decided on making red velvet cupcakes. I grabbed the ingredients and started to preheat the oven. I din’t need to look at my mother’s recipe to know what I needed to do. I had all her recipes memorized since it was the only thing she left me. 

I let Taffy put the sprinkles into the batter while I stirred it to the perfect consistency. Taffy nearly spilled the bowl of delicious cupcake batter on the floor, but thankfully I managed to catch it just in time. I helped him pour the batter into the cupcake pan and we waited patiently for them to finish baking.

While we were waiting, a magic note flew down into my palm. I could only guess who it was from. I opened the note and read it quietly to myself. 

Sorry I couldn’t see you today. I have a fun experiment we can try together tomorrow. I miss you- Randy

I smiled as the note disappeared into thin air. Even if we weren’t together physically, we were both still thinking of one another. 

The oven beeped loudly, scaring Taffy off the counter he was sitting on. Laughing at his surprise I grabbed oven mits and took the fresh cupcakes out of the oven. They smelled so good. I could imagine the huge smile on Randy’s face once he saw the sweet treats. I gathered them all up in a basket and headed to the Prefect’s office with Taffy in tow.

Once at the door, I knocked twice and excused myself.

Randy was sitting at the desk twirling his pen in his hand. It didn’t take a genius to figure out he was bored from working all day. His pink hair shined brightly in the sunlight, which made him look even more handsome than he already was. I smiled to myself as I realized, once again, that he was all mine.

“Luna!” He exclaimed my name excitedly and rushed over to give me a big hug. 

“I have a surprise for you..”I said as I showed him the basket of cupcakes Taffy and I had baked.

“You’re the best girlfriend ever!” He gave me a kiss on the lips before taking a cupcake out of the wrapper and eating it all in one bite.

“Taffy helped out too. We know how much you need a daily sweet treat.” I smiled as he devoured an additional cupcake. 

Randy gave Taffy half of a cupcake to reward him for helping. “Thank you for helping. They’re delicious!”

Taffy happily munched on his cupcake as Randy pulled me close to him.

“I love your sweets and all, but I know there’s something sweeter in the room that I want” He whispered in my ear.

I went beet red as I understood his meaning. He lifted my chin gently with his fingers, and gave me a passionate kiss that nearly had me weak at the knees. 

As he pulled away, he put his forehead to mine. “I love you Luna. More than any amount of sugar.”

“I love you too Randy.” I smiled as our lips came together again in a sweet kiss.

We spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the cupcakes together, making yet another happy memory.

Life Changing Meeting Pairing: Klaus/Luna (His POV)

I checked the time as I finshed grading some papers for Professor Merkulova. 3:00.  I sighed as I grabbed my cloak. A new student was to be arriving at the academy today. Her name was Luna Cornell. She was from the small mountain side village of Reitz. Her file said she was 18.

The sun hung low in the sky, bathing the academy in a pale orange low. It felt relaxing, especially since I had a very stressful day.. A certain green-haired srudent had turned another student into a monkey. Thankfully, no one was injured, but Luca would be spending quite some time in the dentention chamber. 

I reached the academy entrance. I looked around carefully but could see no one in sight. I scratched my head as I started to wonder where the girl had wandered off to.

I continued to look around the area and saw a little pink ribbon on the ground. I quickly pulled out my wand and cast a search spell. I followed the yellow light all around the school only to wind up in front of the auditorium. I opened the door and was taken by surprise at what my eyes saw.

A beautiful girl was standing just inches away from the Scale ofement. Her chesnut colored hair was tied in twin tails. It reminded me of bunny ears. Time seemed to slow down as I continued to stare at her. 

She reached out to the magical tool, I walked briskly over to her. I grabbed her wrist. “Don’t touch that.” I scolded her.

She looked up at me, surprised to hear someone from behind her. Her adorable pink eyes widened as she saw me. She seemed to be taking in my features.

I ended up walking her to the dorms, seeing as she got lost very easily. We said our goodbyes and as I walked away, I had a feeling that I would be seeing a lot more of Luna Cornell.

Forest Surprise Pairing:Leslie/Luna

It was so hard to concentrate on Professor Schuyler’s lecture. It felt as if he would talk my ear off before tonight. A small smile tugged at my lips as I thought about my and Leslie’s long-awaited date. I can’t wait for tonight. Even though we were still staying on academy grounds, I was still very excited. 

The bell ringing snapped me out of my daze. I hurriedly grabbed my bag and made a break for the door.

“Ms. Cornell!” 

I sighed quietly to myself as I turned to see Professor Schuyler’s irritated expression

“Yes, sir?” I asked in a hesitant voice. I hope I’m not in too much trouble. 

“You were not paying attention during my lecture. I would like to know why.” He demanded.

“I was just thinking of what other subjects I need to study for this weekend.” I lied.”

“Very well. Do mind that the mid-terms are coming up. If you do need help understanding something, us professors are her, and you could always ask you Buddy, too.”

“Thank you sir. Have a woonderful weekend.” I smiled.

I exited the classroom. I was very surprised to see Leslie already there, waiting for me. He looked so hansome bathed in the afternoon sunlight. His brown hair framed his face, making him look even more attractive. 

“Hey, why did you take so long? Did you mess up again in class?” He asked with a slightly worried expression. 

“No, I didn’t! I was just thinking about other things besides the lesson...” I replied while my cheeks started to heat up. 

“Oh? What could you have been thinking off?” He teased with a small smirk on his face as we walked down the hall. 

You. I couldn’t say that, it was way too embarassing. My cheeks gradually flushed a darker shade of red as his smirk slowly widened. 

“Well? Aren’t you going to tell me?” He prompted in a teasing tone.

“Where’s Chica?” I asked with hopes to change the subject.

“She decided to stay in the dorm today. Something about needing relaxing quiet.” He replied, taking my hand.

I could begin to see the woods a little ways ahead of us. I looked up at Leslie, only to catch him staring at me. Thinking this is a good chance to get him back for teasing me a moment ago, I chance it.

“Why were you staring at me?” I asked him quizzically. 

He went beet red as he realized he had been caught in the act. Gotcha.

“I was just umm... admiring how.. b-b-beautiful you look.” He said in his flustered state. 

Dammit. Now I was the one blushing. Leslie took my hand and held it in his. I felt my cheeks darken at this small, but sweet, gesture.

We walked further into the forest in a kind of awkward silence. The sun felt nice on my skin as we continued the walk to the Magical Tree sapling. It felt like we got there all too soon. 

“Hey, close your eyes real fast.” Leslie said.

“Why?” 

“Just do it okay?”

“Alright..”

Even though I was still a bit unsure, I did as I was told. I felt his warmth diappear from my side and I suddenly felt lonely without him next to me. I then heard a muttured spell.

“Okay, open!”

I opened my eyes and was shocked at what I saw. Leslie was standing next to a small picnic blanket, and on the blanket was a colorful assortmwnt of foods. A wide smile crept on my lips as I walked over to Leslie. 

“Well, do you like it?” He nervously questioned.

“I love it! Thank you!” I exclaimed as I pulled him in for a hug. 

He gave me a kiss on the forehead in repsonse.

He then sat on the ground and pulled me into his lap.

“Shall we?”

“Lets’ eat!”

And so began our date.
