Things We Need to Cancel in 2025
1. “It’s just my opinion.”
No, dumbass — it’s a harmful narrative rooted in prejudice and bias that literally causes harm. Not every opinion deserves to be voiced. Some are just recycled ignorance dressed up as a “hot take.” Save it.
2. “I’m just logical.”
No, you’re not. You’ve just got a bloated ego and you buy into dehumanizing systems that don’t even value humanity. You don’t actually research or question anything. You lack nuance, empathy, and emotional intelligence. All you do is parrot the same tired ideologies passed down by broken belief systems and call it logic.
3. “This is how to be more feminine/masculine.”
Nothing screams capitalist patriarchy louder than reducing identity into a checklist and commodifying it for social media engagement. These “rules” are exclusionary, flat, and designed to uphold outdated hierarchies. Identity isn’t something you perform to earn approval — it’s something you live and define for yourself.
4. “She’s a 6, 8, or 10.”
Are you serious? It’s 2025. Why are we still rating human beings like we’re on some twisted game show? This is the same reductive mindset as the BMI scale — built to limit, exclude, and control. Humans are limitless. Beauty is not a hierarchy, it’s a spectrum. If you’re still using numbers to validate attraction, you’re the one who’s behind.
5. “Let me give him/her a chance.”
No. We have more than enough resources to not settle for bullshit. If someone continuously disrespects you, it’s not because they’re unaware — it’s because they choose not to care. Stop giving people access to your softness when all they want is to erode your boundaries. If someone shows you who they are, believe it — and walk away.
6. “Women must be ambitious and liberated.”
Actually, women must be free. Period. Sacred femininity does not demand performance. It allows for authenticity. Whether you want to be a wife, a mother, a CEO, an artist, or live off-grid — it’s your birthright to choose. Becoming a high-achieving “girlboss” clone in reaction to patriarchy isn’t liberation. It’s coping. You don’t owe anyone proof that you’re empowered — just be who you are.
7. Spiritual ego.
You left religion just to build a spiritual empire of self-righteousness and denial. Spiritual bypassing is real. You can’t “love and light” your way out of capitalism, racism, trauma, and systemic oppression. Your chakras being aligned doesn’t make you immune to the pain of the world. And spirituality is not a scapegoat to dodge mental health responsibility, accountability, or reality.
8. Aesthetics as identity.
Why are we still trying to brand our entire being as an aesthetic? You don’t have to choose one — you can be soft and edgy, dark and sweet, divine and grungy, wild and structured. You don’t have to perform identity to be valid. You can just be yourself, love what you love, wear what you wear, and move how you move — no labels required.
9. Shaming people for cosmetic choices.
Let people do what they need to do to feel good in their body. Surgery, wigs, nails, makeup, filters, all of it. Self-love is not one-size-fits-all. Just because someone chooses augmentation doesn’t mean they lack self-worth — it means they’re choosing agency. There is no universal beauty standard. There never was. Let people be free.
10. Glorifying emotional detachment.
Being cold, emotionally unavailable, or having a poker face doesn’t make you better — it makes you harder to love. And most of the suffering in the world is due to a lack of empathy, compassion, and nuance — not an excess of it. If you’re proud of how little you feel, that’s not strength. That’s unhealed trauma.
11. Dismissing astrology.
Astrology doesn’t need to be “proven” by science to be valid. It doesn’t need academic citations or randomized control trials to be real. It resonates — and that is sacred. It’s a living, breathing language of the cosmos. Don’t reduce it to a meme if you don’t even understand your own chart. Astrology is not a belief system. It’s a tool — a divine, ancient one. Study it, respect it, or shut up.

i remember when i was young and being really confused about my mother crying in the bus when she was taking me to school. i sat next to her and didnt say anything because i knew she was someone that didnt express her emotions as much so i didnt expect her to tell me anything and on the other hand i was a child so i dont think she was even contemplating on telling me the heavy news while i was going to school.
but i remember when a couple of years passed and i was a bit older to understand her grief but still confused about the root of the issue. i was told that her friend was killed by a rebel apart of the M23 Movement.
the M23 movement involves Rwandan "soldiers" [and Ugandan and more] that attempt to overtake eastern congo! it has been happening for a long time, and im old enough to see how terrible the impact has done to congo and i am old enough to understand that my mother's friend died fighting for our country.
[if you stumble upon any video that speaks about the M23 MOVEMENT being for congo please understand it is propaganda].
when i saw the video of the palestinian baby under rubble and the aid being kidnapped it was one of the most final straws for me. and also my anger towards the oppressive capitalism that use my country for its minerals. and the oppressive capitalism that funds the genocides that is happening
many companies like samsung or tesla and even apple have exploited congo for tech. and where it mainly happens [eastern congo] is where soldiers force children as little as 3 to work, children so young being sexually assaulted, having their mothers be raped and murdered in front of them. there are so many heart-breaking stories and i feel so hopeless. i've always felt so hopeless hearing my mother cry or listen to the news about updates about how everything is going.
how people are getting so hungry that they're turning to cannibalism and that shouldnt be the way anyone should be living! so yes i do feel privilleged to wake up and not have to through that. not have to go through being forced to work or give myself up sexually.
but what i can do is help donate and i hope there are other people willing to donate too! and when you donate you'll receive something back from me. the least we can donate is 15 dollars. and you can go to my back up page @venuskura [so my messages dont get confusing with my main account messages] and show proof that you have donated so you can get a reading from me! 15 dollars to the cause and i interpret a placement you're curious about :) thank you!
if you donate 30 dollars, you get two placements read by me. so 8 paragraphs all the together, but this is no forcing! only do it if you know you can support. when you send the money please show me proof that you have donated the money with a screenshot!
PROOF:
and sorry i added a wonky heart so people dont use my screenshot to lie about them doing it. i'll be supporting them as much as i can while also helping my family!
and please remember that war hurts our earth as well :)
as time passes i will be adding more charities that we can help, but please remember that im not forcing you to do it! i'll also be looking for genuine charities for palestine and other countries going through similar awful crisis. thank you :)
this is not an obligation post if you dont want to do it, so be it!

Venus relates to our skill in external choosiness.
We live in an infinite Universe, so in reality everything is one. But in order to observe oneself, one needs not just insight into oneself, but an external mirror. Through meeting various “others”, we end up critiquing and thus choosing what we want to make space for in our lives. By rejecting certain things and inviting in others externally, we change ourselves as well, because while we can shape things externally, they shape us in turn.
If you enjoy partners, that have a specific interest, even if it’s not related to a skill you yourself possess, that means you’re inviting more of that energy into your life, because with those partners, other related things will come. However, Venus, just like Jupiter, is a Guru planet, and so it describes a certain process of learning. You may enter into partnerships with certain assumptions, and meet disappointments on the way, but ultimately these disappointments will become a mirror for what you will or won’t accept in your life, permanently shaping you and defining your preferences, determining what you will settle for at the end of the day.

some cities + my astrocartography placements alongside it
*in my experience, astrocartography shows me how i interact with a city and how i experience it overall. i find it extremely helpful to look at these before i travel to know what to expect!*
london: has my venus and uranus DC! london is my favourite city in the world (so far). i see so much beauty in it that other people just don't. i am always wondering around in awe, which i think is probably unusual for a local lol. i love every aspect of it. i also love going round art museums here
paris: has my venus and uranus DC again! i haven't spent much time in paris, but whenever i go it is very pretty. i was so in awe of the eiffel tower, which i was shocked by as photos kinda undersell it? but it is gorg. also a huge fan of art museums here too.
olden, norway: not a city but it has my moon IC! i found here to be so beautiful, that it was almost emotional. there was such good connection between people, and i got on really well with some strangers. i also spent a lot of time with my mother here, and it was one of her favourite places.
sydney: had my chiron ac. i enjoyed sydney, to some extent, but there was never an 'awe' factor. i was dealing with a looootttt of facing trauma from my past and learning to not assume everyone hates me, learning to be at peace and not keep searching for 'better', learning to not need validation etc etc.
airlie beach, australia: had my sun ic! not a city again but here felt like the first time i met my sort of people for a month of going without, and i felt seen and understood! this placement isn't overly strong though, like 3 degrees off?
new york city: has my venus and uranus mc! i haven't had the chance to go yet (although i am going in 2027, as long as nothing gets worse politically), but in the least cringiest way possible, it just calls me. i see myself studying here, or living here. i cannot wait to visit.
nassau, bahamas: has my venus and uranus mc RIGHT through it!! once again, haven't gone yet but will in the future and i truly cannot wait. it seems so beautiful, and lke my other venus and uranus cities, i assume i am just going to be in awe the whole time.

I definitely consider religion to be more masculine in nature and a lot of the messages to be for men. All those warnings against endless hedonism, seductive women and the need to abstain . I wouldn’t say there was something wrong with that, but when people come to the feminine paths, they seek the same rule books and lines drawn. But why would Chaos have rigidity?

my wife and i started building her altar to aphrodite. so many parts of it are hand-made; we poured wax into rose shaped moulds, she replaced the backs of thrifted mirrors, she dried and hung flowers. i realize my sweet girl could go her whole practice without a physical altar, because she herself embodies lady aphrodite so damn well. she moves with love, she creates and harnesses beauty, she is sensitive and divine. i’m not an aphrodite devotee, but i pray a thank you to her every time i watch my wife walk across a room 💞

I can definitely see this
I think Katherine is a avatar of Lilith and Elena is Eve hence why they say Elena’s image keeps returning as a doppelgänger destined to end up with Stefan(Adam?) and Katherine is the vampire other woman they pretend they hate
I don’t want to offend the spirit of Lilith 😂 But I asked my cards and i know it’s okay to visualize and see the divine through art 💕🐈⬛🔮

The reason Venus is associated with topics of both love and death is because these subjects both suggest the maximal level of finality and entrapment, but also freedom from both.
The finality of death is in its inevitability. That doesn’t need to be explained. With love, it is a bit more complex, but try remembering witnessing yourself or someone else, who really, truly loves someone and is bonded to them. Love is a bubble, that envelops both parties, that you carry everywhere with you. You can not be physically with your object of love, but both parties can’t help but still think of each other. That feeling is lasting, and you carrying that person with you doesn’t feel like a conscious choice.
You can see that theme present in Venus Nakshatra fiction. A very good example is “Bridges of Madison County” starring Bharani native Meryl Streep. That movie made me want to rip all my hair off, but it is such a good representation of the Venusian fate. SPOILERS AHEAD.
The theme of the movie is a connection between two star crossed lovers, who can’t ever be together because when they meet, it is by accident (or destiny) after one of them is already married and has a family with someone else. Ultimately, after an intense weekend together they part forever, but despite being otherwise engaged in their own physical lives, a successful career, a seemingly happy family, they never forget each other and their mutual emotional and spiritual connection has remained a baseline of their lives. They die still thinking of each other, despite never sharing any more physical experiences.
This is exactly how Venus can poison your life. It can sour every moment in the background, ruin the subconscious feeling of your daily life through its atmosphere or make simple things beautiful. Venus requires of one patience and complete honesty with one’s internal whims and fancies, since subconsciously they will haunt us anyway, even if repressed or denied.
Venus Nakshatra natives can find themselves in relationships others would describe as toxic, but they simply know, that a temptation, if not explored, will forever bother them, like an itch you need to scratch. They are not afraid to dive into those experiences that pull them at their core, for better or for worse, and they emerge transformed, until they find something truly of value.
