So this is my last post on this blog.

I know it doesn't change much, considering I haven't been active on tumblr for a long while, but I think it's time to leave this blog behind.

I wanted to come back to tumblr, but I felt like a blog that is majorly based on HP content doesn't fit me anymore, (even my username is based off "Ilvermorny"), so I've decided to start fresh:

It will be mostly about my original stories and characters. I also haven't left my girl Luna Silver behind, and she'll be back in a new original story, completely seperated from the HPHM's universe.

Here’s a suggestion...

If you don’t want people to choose dating different characters, maybe don’t make all of them in love with MC... They all throw themselves at MC (to a level that it’s even creepy), so it makes sense to want to explore more options.

One recent edition to the dating that I really liked that Jam City recently ruined? Polyamory. When the dating minigame came out, you could level up romance level with multiple characters without the game punishing you for being a dirty cheater. And just accepted that your character is polyamorous and it's cool, and I felt really seen by this as a poly person. But this February they ruined it, with the part wher you can go exclusive. Firstly if you decide not to go exclusive they get sad (1/3)

For my perspective, instead of seeing it as a polyamours thing, it's more like this: people have different tastes when it comes to liking. They'd want their MC to have different people to date, and most people will choose only one option, like Barnaby, Penny or Talbott. I don't really think JC purposely make this feature because polyamory, mostly because they want the players to have different characters to choose from.

Yet I found really cool that I can still go out with different characters. I'll always choose Talbott for obvious reasons, but I really enjoyed my time going out with Badeea since I really liked her and I kinda ship her with Candy so. Also I went out with Jae as well and it was historical 😂

And for me, the concept of polyamory is very interesting, and kinda new to me. I've never heard of it before joining this fandom 2 years ago. I met this really cool artist @lunasilvermorny, whose MC happened to be poly. So yeah, seeing that I could go out on dates with different characters was really cool and great!

but yeah it feels kinda bad that suddenly you start dating and if you wanted to date someone else you you just can't because "no no we don't like cheating here"

There were small details that I couldn’t add on the site, so I added (or subtracted) on Photoshop. You can kinda spot them because they’re not as refined, but I think it still holds up.

Look what I found!

The drawing of this trio that I colored during a livestream a looooong time ago.

Welp, they’re all in an early stage of development here, I’ve changed a few minor things about their appearance, but this illustration was supposed to show their clothes more than the characters themselves, so... I think it’s close enough.

Mouse looks so tiny between Watchdog and Redwitch and that is 100% the point.

Redwitch.

And it won’t be Mouse’s story without Redwitch.

Coloring the hair was very challenging, but it was also really satisfying when I finished it. Kinda looks like fluffy red clouds, and I’m fine with it.

So who’s Redwitch? Technically, the love interest, but also the leader of the coven in the story.

I haven’t decided yet if she’s a natural-witch or if she possesses any special abilities, so we’ll have to wait and see.

And that’s the last OC I have to show you from the story for now! :)

After yesterday’s post, I couldn’t wait any longer to share him with you.

He’s 100% the most wholesome character in the story. He is Mouse’s protector, although it seems more like he’s trying to protect everyone else from her.

I broke my own record, he’s even taller than my version of Rowan from HPHM. He’s around 2.10m.

He’s not big on words, but his heart is in the right place… Most of the time.

Pros and cons of dating doctor X? 👀👀

Ooh, Mira... this is going to be a challenging one. But for you - I'll do it!

Hoo boy, alright. I can do this!

Pros:

He is very smart.

He has nice hair.

He has a job.

Alright, time for the bad stuff!

Cons:

He tortured his daughter since she was a small child, kept her captive and isolated from the world, and forced her to murder innocent creatures "in the name of science", when in reality he was just curious to see what will happen.

No accountability. He pretty much gets away with all the terrible things he's done.

He is self-righteous. He tortured his daughter "for science" and he contributes to the prosecution of witches "in the name of god" and "for the greater good".

Okay, to be fair, I think he did on thing right...ish.

A pro that is also a con:

He took Watchdog under his wing, that was abandoned by his parents at a fairly young age, and treated him like a son. It turned out to be a selfish act in the end, but at least while growing up - Watchdog had someone to look after him. Then after he found out the truth it totally messed him up and caused a severe trust issues with anyone who tried to show him kindness, so... it's complicated.

Pros and cons of dating my snake, Lunrina™ edition~!

Pros:

-Okay, HEAR ME OUT..... Quidditch training that ends in make out sessions. Just think about it~

-The flirting battles, the cheesy pick up lines, the absolute delusional fangirling over Rath together- Loads of verbal PDA between these two

-If Luna, considering she's poly, wants to seek the company of someone else, like Rath for example, Marina won't mind. As long as Luna still wants her, Marina doesn't care much who's company she seeks-

Cons:

-HOWEVER, said person needs to be approved of Marina or else she might go Protective™ mode. For example, Penny (Who in my headcanon isn't as sweet as JC makes her to be-), is a big NO.

-She's a silent judger of Luna's drinking habits. She won't comment on it, respecting her girlfriend's choices but can't help but narrow her eyes a little.
