Hi chat. do not castrate me for anything that will be talked about in this post. if you cannot see any of my points being made you should not be on the internet. the internet is NOT a safespace no matter how much you wish it were. people are bad and will continue to be bad. with that said. I am vaugeing but you can already tell what this is all about. Id hope at least. i am not personally getting affected by this problem but i do know that people i am friends with are getting accused of things. and are getting affected. if you dont want people to talk about it, or be uncomfortable because of it, do not post it on a PUBLIC website. do not throw it in everyones face whats happening. if you dont want to keep quiet about it thats fine but keep it to people you trust because posting and talking about it will only ever to continue to make it worse. spreading it everywhere will only continue to make it worse. answering asks and interacting with the bad things happening will only continue to make it worse. and it will get to the point it is now where other people are being blamed and affected. showing that its getting to you will make it worse and it will not stop. this is what the delete button was made for. this is what the block anon button was made for. this is what the turn off asks or anons was made for. this is not something all of tumblr needs to know about. people will go out of their way to make it worse. (like said. the internet is NOT a safe space.) things like this will happen on the internet it is assumed that not everyone has good intentions i just wish some people would understand this, everything isnt going to change instantly souly because of a few posts talking about it, people who want to cause harm will not stop if you continue to give them reactions. simply ignore them. no ones heart will magically change simply because of a few posts on tumblr.

youre allowed to be upset and uncomfortable but do not give them the comfort of knowing theyre what irked you.(this is the same standpoint of do not share your triggers openly on the internet because there ARE BAD PEOPLE out there who WILL use it all against you.) youre only ever giving them what you want if you continue to react to it. OTHER people are ALSO ALLOWED to get upset and uncomfortable about this. OTHER people are ALLOWED to want to take breaks and leave because of this. If you do not want anyone else to get upset over your issues do not blare it through a speaker to the world. This is the internet. bad things WILL happen. Do NOT go blaming RANDOM people for this. Do not get upset at people for only wanting to help you also. Like vauging, again, this is a PUBLIC website, not everyone wants to get up close and personal with things. People want to help but they do not want to overstep any boundries. Now once again. the internet is not a safe space. there will always be bad people. if you cannot get over that fact then you do not need to be on the internet. do not give people what they want. You do not have to dignify everything you get with a response. If you give responses to things that are bad then that is ONLY ever on YOU. This is NOT saying that getting weird asks is the receivers fault. it IS however their fault if they CONTINUE to respond to them and react. because you are ONLY giving people what they want. If you cannot learn how to function on the internet without giving everything a reaction and getting upset you should not be on it. Anyway.
