[a very very small lil drabble. he is also my very very real husband and i have a crush on him]

"how does it taste?" sanji said spooning his latest dish, a coconut cake, into your mouth.

he'd been working on a new recipe all morning, and he was excited when you finally woke up and hovered over him to watch him cook. you chewed slowly, just to give sanji an accurate review.

"i love it, it's your best dessert yet." you hum, going to swipe some icing out of the bowl, but your hand immediately gets smacked away.

"no double dipping." he jokes before turning back to finish garnishing the cake.

"sanji, pleeease? it's irresistable." you pout, knowing he never resists.

he scoops some icing on a new spoon, feeding it to you with heart eyes. "you're so hard to say no to," he mumbles, watching you enjoy the sweet treat.

"that's because you love me too much," you laugh.

"well… i'm never gonna deny that," he turns around, grabbing a piping bag. "come help me decorate," he requests, stuffing the icing in the pipe.

"i don't know how," you insist, "plus you look so good when you do it!"

"c'mere i'll teach you," he speaks through your whines and pouts.

“fine,” you huff, “but if i fuck it up you can’t be mad at me.”

“i could never.”

as you pick up the piping bag, sanji immediately notices the look of confusion on your face. he wraps his arms around you, using his hands to guide your own.

“you wanna hold it like this, see?” he whispers in your ear, positioning your hands over the frosted layer.

sanji begins to ramble about the importance of angles and pressure when frosting a cake, but it all went in one ear and out the other. the way his large hands encased your own, and how he spoke so softly, distracted you from the task at hand. before you knew it, you had finished icing the entire dessert.

“see baby, you did it.” sanji says, spinning you around to face him.

“huh, i guess i have a pretty good teacher,” you say, “how could i ever repay him?”

sanji smirks and points at his flour covered apron, “you know the drill.”

you look down and read “KISS THE COOK” printed in bold letters right on the very front.
