Trump and Epstein

I noticed an interesting reaction as the question was posed about Maxwell. Haven’t heard anyone mention that occurrence. What has been mentioned is the obviousness of Trump’s oddness in beginning with him saying he doesn’t know much about this but, “I just wish her well.”

Watch a close camera shot of just Trump while the reporter question is stated. The very moment he asks about Maxwell stating she would expose “Powerful Men”, Trump does a significant hard swallow with facial expression. (Trump follows the question about this accused accomplice to a sexual predator, and an accused sexual predator herself,) by stating he doesn’t know much about this, “I just wish her well,” followed by the statement of knowing her for years. 

He doesn’t know much about this, but has known her for years. Adding that they lived in the same neighborhood with the “I guess”.

Suspicion of Trump is not unfounded.

Not really a revelation here, but I’ve learned to think of extreme wealth in new terms. The old adage that absolute power corrupts absolutely is, I think, true enough, but now I tend to think of it more like this: having a million dollars is kinda like having one infinity stone. Having several million dollars is maybe like having two infinity stones. Having a billion dollars is roughly the equivalent of having three infinity stones. But having several hundred billion dollars? That’s like having the whole infinity gauntlet. All you have to do is snap your fingers, and suddenly you can change reality. The rules no longer apply to you when you’re a multi, multi-billionaire. None of them. You can buy private islands to rape young girls, you can buy police forces, you can buy elections, you can change public opinion on a whim, and you can reshape your image into a benevolent god. You can even rewrite (whitewash) history and turn villains into heroes. Hell, you can literally buy the courts and presidents (in multiple countries), and even redefine words like “rape” and “torture” and “slavery” so that they no longer apply to you personally.

 In 1998, Bill Clinton was Impeached for having sexual relations with (at the time) 22 year old Monica Lewinsky, who was at the time a White House intern. This is an example of sexual misconduct because of the vast power imbalance between a president and an intern.

In any other situation, if a boss was preying on an intern in a sexual manor, they would be deemed a sexual predator. At the time of impeachment Monica described the affair as consensual. 

In 2018, Lewinsky herself began to question her long-standing view that her relationship with Clinton had been consensual, characterizing the relationship as a “gross abuse of power” wherein the power differential between the two was so great that “consent might well be rendered moot.”
