the thing about like aftercare and negotiation and consent check ins etc. is that they're necessary social maintenance routines/interactions and they're very dry and awkward sounding on paper and ime they're still warm and affirming because you do them with someone you care about/have some social connection with even in the moment, same as sharing a bathroom or brushing your teeth or figuring out what to have for dinner every night, but there's really no way to convey and fawn over that connection in Postz™, so instead you get a torrent of content trying to sex up and cutesify things like "instead of asking your partner if they're good to continue ask if daddy's slut is having fun 😈" and other Worst Possible Practice top hits. you are not going to get a top 10 buzzfeed make her a pot of mac n cheese and fuck her in it style answer for what the best possible aftercare activity is because the real answer is a very unidealizable "idk, have you talked with her about it?"

Really tough week, more so than usual. Legitimately felt like I was floating above my body as I trudge through my daily routine, work, and soon school, etc.. Losing interest in a lot of things, but I still force myself to try and engage with things that I enjoy. Becoming short tempered and irritable, always on the verge of bursting into tears. Not sure how much longer I can endure this, really.
