What is Friendship? [Chase x Gentarou]

With all that has been happening to him now, Chase felt very much lost. Having his memories back was definitely a shock to him. It was one of the big things that has been egging him. That, and the concept of family and friends. 

Chase was walking around the city, learning more about how humans operated, when he ended up somewhere near a school. He looks at the entrance to see students walking out and couldn’t help but wonder how the Global Freeze had affected them.

After such a long time, Chase was finally able to make decisions for himself. No compulsion from his programming. He was only influenced by the occurrences around him. One such example was the lie he had told Kiriko about Gou. He didn’t feel bad about it like an ordinary human would but he did have a strong belief that it was for the best. “You don’t have to worry about me like you do for Gou. Now, the main focus is 001.”
