He laughed and spread his hands. “What can I say, I’m a good friend. Someone’s gotta support Mark’s band. And you did say you had nothing better to do,” he reminded her with a grin. Her agreement came easily and he kept that fake easy grin on his face, the one from earlier days. “Great, lets go then.”

She grinned, walking alongside him. “I did say that--” she conceded, falling into step with him as they wandered along. “So wait, how do you know this Mark again? And what band is this?”

The blonde grinned as she knocked on the door, “Welcome mat is rolled out..” she replied with a grin, “Hi, Eve?”

“Of course you can,” he assured her, though his tone clearly said ‘no you can’t’. He threw up his hands. “But hey, its your choice.” When she asked for their plans he pretended to think for a moment. “I heard about a basement show tonight, a friend of mine Mark has a band and they’re having a thing. Are you interested in terrible music? And I do mean fucking terrible,” he added with a grin.

She rolled her eyes, she knew most people didn’t believe her when she said she was still fun, heck she didn’t believe herself until Boon would reassure her that she was, or Paige would make her realise that she could still have fun with one of her crazy suggestions. “Crappy music huh? You know how to show a girl a good time..” she teased, wrinkling her nose. “But sure, why not? I mean, I have to see if they are as terrible as you say they are--”

“You and small lists do not go in the same sentence, but spill, please I need some entertainment...”

“On the straight and narrow, huh sweetheart? Pity. I thought you said you wanted something eventful. But fine, ladies choice. I’ll drink the alcohol, and you can just stand there looking pretty.”

“Trying--” she replied, “I can have fun without the drink-- and I then remember said fun the next day” she protested with a grin. “We’ll see, what are we doing then?”

“Depends on what you consider ‘something interesting’. And of course, it has to involve alcohol.”

“Mmkay, well you can have my alcohol. I’m trying to stay on the bandwagon for once-- but I’m still into the same fun as you Price, like I’ve lost that side of me.”

Boon flushed a little before rolling his eyes at her. “Yeah, yeah. Always the tease.” He joked before fumbling with his tie again. “I have an interview for an internship with this Law Firm on the south side. I’m trying to go for that, ‘looks like he could get you out of jail but you also shouldn’t mug him’ aesthetic.”

She grinned a little at his flushed cheeks, gently biting upon her lower lip as she looked at him. “As if I’d be any other way--” she replied with a chuckle before moving forward and gently closing her fingers around his wrists to pull his hands from the tie so she could begin to tie it. She worked quietly, her eyes locked on the neat knot she was creating as a slight hint of smile. “You should definitely get it with this look, they will be begging you to go work for them.”

“Any suggestions Price?”

"I kinda like teasin' you" she replied with a cheeky grin, tilting her head to study him. "What's with the formal gear?"
