Hiatus

( This blog is going to be on a hiatus for now, reasons being that I have several sick kitties that need medicine and attention. And I want to use what free time I have to try to rework this blog, such as make it look nicer and have more info on my muses than what I have now. Good news is that Skyrim is now working, so I might also take some screenshots of Risa and Artemis in-game. But other than that this blog will be pretty quiet for now. I apologize to everyone waiting for replies or starters, I didn't mean to make you wait so long. Sorry again! )

The Imperial took a step back, blinking. She had been expecting something to be behind the door. She wasn’t quite sure what, but it definitely hadn’t been a knife throwing ghost.

“The fuck was that for?” Risa stomped up to the specter, stepping on the forks that were scattered on the floor. ‘Wait..forks?’ Her gaze moved from the ghost to the mess that covered the ground. Apparently, someone had been busy.

She turned her attention back to the spectral man, spluttering and motioning to the floor. “What, I just, why? Did the cups offend you in some way? Was the apple not ripe enough?”

It wasn’t meant to be at her particularly.. 

He was just playing a bit with his ghostly powers. Lifting things and throwing them at the wall. 

It’d started when he’d gotten frustrated at an apple He’d been levitating… He knew He’d never be able to eat it…So he simply flung it at the wall.

Boredom getting the better of him, Said apple was soon followed by some cups and forks that’d been sitting on the table, readily available…. Along with a knife.

He should’ve known he was making enough noise for someone to investigate. But the look on her face when the knife flew narrowly past her and hit the wooden door frame was P r i c e l e s s! 

“Oh…Opps… Hi there..” He hummed out, unable to keep the humor from his tone, or the smirk from his face.

Artemis furiously rubbed her hands up and down her upper arms. Her eyes gazed across the terrain, taking in every rock and tree. And the snow. So much snow. She wondered how the Nords stood being surrounded almost constantly by the stuff. Especially out here where there was practically no cover and everything looked the same.

Distantly she could hear Risa’s mutterings of ‘what the fuck’ and the snow crunching as the Imperial wandered around behind her. She was likely also being over-dramatic and emphasizing her confused anger by waving her arms around. Ah, she was. Her companion could be seen in the corner of her eye, doing exactly what the Bosmer had expected.

She turned so she was facing the other woman. “I don’t know why you never looked into becoming an actress in a play. One would think you’d be perfect,” Artemis called out, an amused smile lifting the corners of her mouth.

Risa stopped and turned to look back at her. “I’ve tried, but no one’s been willing to work with me since I burned the stage for,” she paused. “What was the name of it? You know, the one about that necromancer.”

“Manni - something?”

“Yeah, that! What was the name of it?”

“Oblivion if I can remember. Probably the same as the book.”

“Eh, probably. Do you know where the fuck we are?”

She shrugged. “In the Pale, somewhere outside of Dawnstar. Although how far outside is another question entirely.”

Risa hummed and tapped her chin. “Well, I think I can see that big crumbly tower over there.”

“So we’re not too far. Good.” The Bosmer shivered. “I say we head that way and spend the night at the inn. Hopefully, they have some horker soup, I’m dying to eat something that isn’t bread or cheese.”

“Agreed. So.” Risa offered a hand to her to help her down the hill. “Ready, my lady?”

Artemis gladly accepted the hand. ”As always.”
