I am genuinely shocked that anyone is voting Sentinel on the poll, as few as that may be. I assume the argument is that they wouldn't be able to sting him? But like, I don't think they need to sting him to win, just swarming around him should be enough.

"Swindle would be so much better on his own" stfu I think the only Swindle who has even a modicum chance of survival without his gestalt is TFA Swindle cause at least he VISIBLY is decked out in weapons and even then he's still the smallest Decepticon in the room most of the time

Swindle is not better on his own; he's a coward. That's like a big part of his personality, he's a coward and he relies on something to fall back on in order to at least appear or feel confident.

PLUS THERE'S KINDA A FUCKING REASON HE GOT SPAWNED IN WITH THE BATTIES????

He acts as the mouthpiece, and in some cases as the face, for the group because he's the only member of the gestalt who doesn't look like and doesn't act like an immediate threat. He's the guy you wanna talk to when you're captured because he's "nicer than the rest" and will "get you a sweet deal" no matter how cheap that deal is

Point is? The Combaticons don't work without Swindle because Swindle is their only means of diplomacy and dealings without immediately scaring off who they're trying to deal with. If Onslaught doesn't think Swindle is useful, he'd probably would've made that clear by now, gestalt or not

i don't think vortex and blades are good for each other in any normal way but i do think they would give each other enrichment via beating the shit out of each other so write that down

I'm so mentally ill about the Combaticons I've written like ten different fics (they're all wips but I'm not fucking stopping)

Anyway for some reason I stumbled directly into rarepair time and started shipping Blast Off and First Aid. Dunno how that happened but I'm rolling with it cause it's actually scratching my brain

I esp like writing them cause to me, Blast is probably the most emotionally secure and intelligent out of the bunch. If he wants to be with First Aid, the only thing he'd ask of the medic is just don't ask him to change who he is. Which is a reasonable request

Anyway they're a comfort ship now agh. Keeping them all to me and my greedy little self (jk I'm sharing with @vvronax )
