I kind of like to think that Dragunov and Bryan had briefly crossed paths once, around tk6. That Dragunov maybe didn't see Bryan, but Bryan saw Dragunov in passing as he headed towards the action following Lars's coup. Sergei was interesting to him in comparison to many soldiers he'd come across before. Russian probably, carried himself like he was important-and knew it. And Bryan found him especially beautiful. He had this impulse to capture him and drag him back to that dilapidated manor or just challenge him right there- torture him until that pretty face was contorted in pain and terror. And that would be satisfying enough. But he didn't, he just watched Dragunov and rode out the desire. He watched until Dragunov and his unit drove off.

That commander stuck in his head for a few days after that. How he never had heard him say a word to his men, his pallid skin, icy gaze like a doll, the way he moved; like war was boring him. Then he forgot all about the encounter, never thought he'd see him again. But Bryan absolutely did see him again, and when he finally approached that soldier one on one Sergei pointed a large-caliber Dragunov at Bryan's chest. He probably found how he was often referred to by his family name pretty hilarious after that

Have you or would you keep a spider as a pet? Or do enjoy seeing them out in the wild more?

I like seeing (most creatures) in the wild if I can- but if someone had some pet spiders they needed to rehome I'd take them if no one else would.

I've kept some just temporarily, they often come inside during storms so I just keep them hydrated until they can be released and not drown or something lol.

4. how crafty/resourceful are they? Lazer is very much both and crafty in the practical and mental sense. He's customized and repaired a lot of his clothes and other items, maybe because they feel like a tether back to normalcy for him, maybe he just likes them a lot. He's pretty clever and can get himself out of a variety of situations too. I mean of course it helps that he can partially liquefy himself and turn parts of his body into tendrils but yeah, he will find a way out of a problem.

10. if they wear jewelry, what kind? do they prefer silver or gold? do they have a favorite gem? He's got a little gold pendant of an oroboros with a red eye, might be garnet or something. That's about all the metal jewelry he owns. Everything else is leather and feathers.

18. their opinion on lying, stealing, and killing? Lying- he lives somewhat of a double life, so he's definitely okay with lying about that. I'd think he believes everybody lies, and sometimes it's necessary to keep one side or both safe. And then he almost expects betrayal so he wouldn't be shocked if he was lied to. Stealing- he'd definitely steal from chain stores, basically the rich lol. Never from someone who couldn't afford to lose those things. Killing- he'd avert his gaze for a moment in thought if asked about killing. He'd say somewhat seriously that he has not killed another human (doesn't need the trouble that follows a murder). But there's kind of a silent yet on that lol because he would if he had to. He might also say life and killing are inseparable because every living thing cuts other things' lives short to extend its own anyway

5. how do they typically dress? does their wardrobe lean more towards practicality or aesthetics? She's a straight up aura farmer, she dresses kind of goth/techy in her main outfits. Not afraid of revealing some skin. Though sometimes she'll wear fatigues, not her choice.

21. their favorite place to be? Hierra doesn't really like to stop in one place and think. Stuff was hard at home and hard in the military. She probably often feels like a stranger even in her own spaces. I honestly think her favorite place might be a place in her own head. That or anywhere she can be distracted. Maybe one day she will find a place, or at least someone who creates such a place wherever they go :)

26. how do they move? are they clumsy? light on their feet? do they use mobility aids? Hierra is fast! She moves like she's light, but you'll know she's a bit heavier than a flesh and blood human of her size when she jumps and lands on some surfaces. I guess you could say she does use mobility aids, because part of her limbs' bones are actually synthetic and she couldn't move without those. But you could also say no, if mobility aids are strictly external. idk!

I'm sure everyone's seen it in him but a thing I really like about crocodile

is that he's this imposing, brutal, calculating warlord ruthlessly out for himself and can be very cold and heartless, but occasionally we see this nurturing/accepting almost "protective" facet to his personality if you think about some of the people he hired (and animals) and the many times he's drawn being peaceful with animals like the baby bananawani, a dog, birds- it's almost as if it's there and he tries to hide it.

I mean of course, he ate some of those bananawani he keeps and it's even his fav food? And didn't seem too hesitant to use lethal force on his own people if they stepped out of line or fail

it makes his character mirror his namesake a bit, lol. They don't waste energy on trivial things, so they can be "gentle" animals to a point. They will be involved ("motherly" lol.. if you wanna anthromorphize them) with their eggs and young. Smaller animals can live around them and survive/go about their business

And how crocodiles usually share their territory with birds ;P. They even place their eggs in close proximity; a crocodile will be alerted to danger by birds' calls and the birds' eggs will be safe too as a crocodile will defend its nest. of course a crocodile is an apex predator and not to be messed with or bothered or pushed to attacking and same goes for OP's Crocodile.

I also thought about how a lot of the characters he involves himself with have bird names; crocodilians are closer to birds than true lizards if you go back to their saurian ancestor, archosauria?

oh yeah I also love the contrast of his rough but cute younger look to the adult version, also like a crocodile 🤭
