Not a single fucking Republican voted to protect roe. It was fucking overturned in the first place bc trump got three Supreme Court appointments.

Every fucking thing wrong in this country is almost certainly the result of Republicans being in power. In 2020, Texas cut half of the polling places in black neighborhoods, and doubled them in white ones, regardless of population. It was Republicans bitching about mail in voting, and constantly, constantly fearmonger about voter fraud. Literally, their platform is about making civil rights harder to practice.

Would you like to know why? It’s because Republican politicians know better than anyone that higher voter participation means higher republican loss.

But what do I see from the online left, champions of the oppressed?

“Voting doesn’t do anything, the parties are the same, the system is rigged, etc, etc”

Don’t sit here and tell me you give a fuck about marginalized people if you aren’t ready to march your ass to the voting booth and vote out the party actively stripping their rights away.

Protest, donate, community build, unionize, and vote, vote, vote.

By the time direct action is the only option, it will be too fucking late.

A mockup I've made for a new KING SALMONID! LEMONHEAD! Being the gearhead that it is, Lemonhead has been assembling tons of broken down machinery (as well as generously donated octarian technology) in the depths of the sea to create its magnum opus! The vehicle couldn't be given a name, it is simply part of Lemonhead, an extension of its being. What it lacks in its own stature, especially compared to the others in its rank, Lemonhead more than makes up for with the complexity of its device, and the beauty of its pompadour! Through the immense deep sea pressures and its strenuous workload, its eyes have, curiously, mutated to resemble that of a flounder... Luckily, the searchlight on the vehicle can spot inkfish in a flash!

Lemonhead is quite resilient, and even more than that, it's unruly. Lemonhead can reach incredible speeds unmatched by the other King Salmonids. But its vehicle is not without its flaws. Unlike the armored cockpit of a Scrapper or Drizzler, Lemonhead is exposed at all times... It's highly elevated however, meaning only ranged attacks are most effective. The dangling, exposed engine can also be flooded with enemy ink, damaging the vehicle. Lemonhead's own brazen charges may also be its own downfall... Slamming into walls or charging off the shore can almost guarantee it's left vulnerable. Additionally, its attacks may harm other Salmonids in its wake, leaving the enemy with valuable ammunition.

Decided to recreate one of my favorite things I’ve ever made ever

My name is Tala Nassar, I'm 17 years old from Gaza.

My mother is in critical medical condition. She was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in her left breast.

Her condition is indescribably serious, and her diagnosis worsens day by day. This situation has been exacerbated by the recent bombings and ground invasion of our area in Nusairat. Her condition has deteriorated further due to the toxic gases from bombs dropped just meters away from our home, and even from the smoke resulting from cooking over an open fire due to the lack of gas.

We have been displaced to the city of Rafah and are still living in makeshift tents, and she has not received any treatment since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza. The only cancer hospital in Gaza has been completely destroyed for a long time. Her weakened immune system and diabetes make matters worse, as finding any medication at the moment is impossible. We are incredibly afraid of the possibility of a malignant tumor or something worse occurring.

Please help us. We desperately need medical assistance for my mother, and time is running out for us. Your support can make a difference in saving her life.

Help A Teenage Girl Evacuate Gaza!

Amal's situation is exceedingly dire. She has faced extreme difficulty accessing food and medicine she desperately needs. Airstrikes and famine conditions have forced Amal to navigate an increasingly dangerous Gaza, in which she is already internally displaced. Amal is only 18 years old, and has been forced to give up her high school and college dreams in order to survive this genocide. Making a new post to condense info: I am a trans woman living in the South, and I'm lucky enough to have gotten in at an informed consent clinic, but I keep losing work and being unable to find new jobs. So I'm asking for donations to pay for my quarterly blood work to keep on HRT and to cover my new patient fee and other bloodwork required by the new personal care physician I'm required to have to keep accessing HRT through a nurse practitioner which my insurance is refusing to cover because the state kicked me off medicaid for being unable to prove my future income as a freelance writer but they didn't file the paperwork and it's taking MONTHS to get this sorted out. (Sorry that was one sentence but it's an irl clusterfuck too)
