COOL !!! just before artfight started i got super obsessed with both the cattail games and that's all i talked about for the next while 💀 spent 90 hours in total with both games combined in just like a week or so ... very very fun !! also you should tooootally look into Rain World someday still .. except maybe don't buy the new DLC Watcher instantly until you decide if you end up liking the game or not LOL

I FORGOT TO REPLY TO THIS... that's so true though cattails is PEAK !! i love being a silly kitty cat. i think i have 87 hours in it, i just haven't touched it in a while.. this is making me want to play it again but i have work and the most ive been able to do lately is draw

also i do rlly want to get into rainworld. what would you suggest is the best way to get into it. is there a rainworld lore explained video or is watching gameplay of it better.....

pico - orange cats, weasels. it says ferrets for him on twitter but i decided otis gets ferret privileges actually

darnell - for some reason my brain only associates him with canines. great danes and coyotes i guess?? sorry darnell i dont know you well enough....

nene - seals !! also blackfooted cats because they are tiny and deadly and that's very nene of them

cassandra - fennec foxes. also fire ants because i associate the penilians with different bugs but she doesn't deserve a scary imposing one <3 also theyre red so its ok

alucard - lab rats because of the horrors. also taipan snakes because they're very deadly but also very docile and attack only when pissed off. very alucardcore

cyril - worms. and hyenas. i just think he's kinda pathetic ok

hanzo - hanzo gets to be something cool. hanzo gets to be a tanuki. hanzo also gets to be something not cool. hanzo gets to be a sopping wet cat because thats what ive associated them with since the first time i saw them.

spike - porcupine because spikey... also american bulldogs

pierre - magpies. also black cats because of spike being a dog. they have to go together ok, dont seperate

honorary mention 2, otis - ferrets because ferrets and weasels are cousins. also flying squirrels because apparently peregrine falcons hunt them sometimes and damien wants otis dead so it all fits together 👍👍👍

oc stuff.... shout out to side characters with pretty designs. small info dumping below.. look at my kids

softpaw is a medicine cat apprentice that didn't want to be one.. which is pretty common in the books but i decided uhhh. what if it's not a prophecy thing and her mom is just very overprotective :]c her mom was widowed and softpaw is the only surviving kit of her litter; this led algaeshore to be like "yeah im not losing this one, too" and she basically. forced softpaw into being a medicine cat instead.. (softpaw is not happy about it.. she is failing her training on purpose)

lake is a former rogue!! his group traveled a lot and that left him yearning for a sense of stability in his life. they ended up stopping near riverclan territory and lake met daybreak (who is now his mate!) lake wanted a sense of control and left his group by choice to join riverclan. his design is vaguely based off of unicorns but idk how else to explain that.. hes very pretty horse.
