Katie & Mirage’s home in California is light, airy, and pastel. They call it candy-colored, and Katie loves vintage things, meaning more retro than antique-y. The living room is striking, especially the striped couch.

You can see color as soon as you enter the hall of Sara’s color-blocked Stockholm home. The hall has also become her and her friend’s art projects. 

Sara lived here with white walls for six months before she came to the fore with coloring. The living room was divided by two color fields. The far part used for concentration and writing was painted in dark blue, while the rest turned light gray. The cool Plexiglas house is Sara’s work.
