theres a hole in the wall in my brothers’ room because they were fighting (for fun not anger) in there once and one of them knocked the other into the wall so hard his head made that hole, so they put two small skeletons in there for decoration

hello tomblr :3 I wrote a thing! You can find it here on the Squidge archive—you’ll need to make an account, but it’s super quick and easy, plus it uses the open-source code for AO3 so the interface will probably be familiar :3 it’s gen Matt & Tom and pure fluff, they’re just hanging out. (I’m trying to get a handle on their character voices, lol)

here’s a quick excerpt…

Matt does his little grin, then—the one that doesn’t reach his eyes, the one he does when he’s content. “I was wooondering,” he says, tucking his chin into his neck momentarily to look at Tom through the camera, “if you wanted to have a Late Breakfast.” He over-pronounces the last two words in the manner of someone who dearly wishes not to say ‘brunch’.

Tom is a little surprised, but mostly pleased. They haven’t spent much time together lately, and it’s a good excuse to get out of the house. “Yeah, sure! In the city?”

“Yeah,” Matt says, a happy little sound. He smiles now, wider, still not to his eyes. “In a park, maybe. We can feed the ducks.”

Matt doesn’t care either way about the ducks, but he knows that Tom does. Tom grins, exhaling a bit through his nose without meaning to, feeling warm. “Sure. Yeah, that sounds good.”
