I think some people genuinely forget how gay ahkj was, we got two illegaly-operating healthcare workers living in a cave that bicker like an old married couple; an advisor–whom canonically has done drag, kissed a guy (and lets not forget the entirety of true bromance, I Maurice and the entirety of exiled) and the king of lemurs—who said multiple times he doesn't fw labels, has seen to also dabble in drag and keeps having situationships with his bestfriends; an average guy in extreme comphet that has homoerotic tension with his alter ego—and since we're on the topic of comphet; the entirety of Clover's character; Mort; and of course, the canon gay couple of the show: Karl and his cockroach bf Chauncey💜

one of the craziest things I find about Julien and his parents is that you'd ASSUME they hate eachother due to the effect they had on Julien, but they love eachother very much after the all the years, they have banter, nicknames etc etc. Which means they emotionally abused their son not due to relationship problems, but for the love of the craft😭
