Witch Tip:

Get a copy of the map of your area. Not a country map, a state map, or even a county map. Your area. You can print off a Google map if a commercial version isn't available.

Take the map with you everywhere you go. Make notes on it of things you notice - does one area feel different to you? Does a tree live among many dead ones? Do you see the same cat sitting on the same fence post at the same time every morning? Where do bees live? What crossroads catch your eye? Is there a cemetary?

Once you've filled the map with your observations, keep it in your grimoire for reference.

Go out to the woods sometime. Find a big tree, the biggest you can.

Go up to that tree, lay a hand on it, and ask it about what it feels, about how it feels about having won its place. Ask it how it feels about having smothered and shaded out a hundred smaller enemies, and then feasted on their rotting corpses. And that huge ancient oak tree will tell you how sweet triumph tastes, and how death pays for life.

Then find one of the struggling little scraggly trees under that oak, and ask it what it feels, and it will tell you of patience, of endurance, and of how sweet will the bones of the giant taste when the giant falls at last, and gives the sapling its chance.

Plants understand more of triumph, of death, and of how death and life are but two sides of the same coin than most humans ever will.

Minecraft+Magic: The Emerald Shrine

A little peek into how I’m incorporating Minecraft into some of my practice by making my own Shrines/ Honoring for my Court. (Let me make note i watched A EFF TON of minecraft videos on custom landscapes while making these and took a ton of tips on designs from those videos.)

I hope this helps inspire my hidden witch practitioners to try for themselves ;> please note this place is no where near done and i have lots more ideas i’ll want to incorporate later haha <3

Minecraft Employment Spell

Since I’m moving across the country next week with my fiancee @queerwit ​) and our familiar (aka our dog Boo), she’s looking for a job, and all of my usual supplies are already packed up for the big move, not to mention that I’m low on spoons from packing and money from putting a deposit down on our new apartment.  Thanks to some inspiration from @stormwaterwitch ​‘s post about using minecraft for magick, I came up with a solution- below are instructions for my minecraft spell to find employment at a well paying job!

*I highly recommend performing this spell in creative mode. I originally started in survival mode in a world where I have spent many, many hours but found that I simply didn’t have the materials I wanted for the spell, and moving around is much easier when you are able to fly freely*

1) If starting a new world (I did), build a space to practice magic. Here’s mine:

I planted roses for their power in magick and poppies for their personal significance to me.

2) Decorate your space with green banners. Green is used to represent real world money (if you’re from the US like me) and the in game currency (emeralds). Here’s what that looked like for me:

However, it can look different for different spaces; as long as you have a few hanging around, that’ll work.

3) Place a furnace on your work space/altar and begin to smelt emerald ore into 9 emeralds. Though it’s easier to simply obtain emeralds through mining or straight from the inventory, smelting them charges them and makes your spell more powerful.

4) Place blaze powder and bottles o’enchanting (to give your spell power), nether stars (to bring you a good job) and emeralds (to make sure the job pays well), in a chest in front of your witchcraft space, arranged like this:

It’s also important to make sure there’s a ledge above your chest for the next step. I placed mine like this:

5) Run a bucket of lava over the chest to seal the spell and give it a final kick!

logic would seem to dictate that the lava would burn up the chest, but it doesn’t

6) Save and quit, then start/continue applying for jobs!

Ren’s Get Hired Fast Spell

So on Wednesday, I had 2 interviews for new jobs that would give me more stable hours and the same pay that I was getting at this current job.

Things you will need

Basil

Stone Chips (or Pendulum, or tumbled stones. Or all of the above). Of a stone you personally resonate with best. For me it was Rose Quartz

Candle. (optional. I did white. Can do green for an extra boost)

Salt optional

Pockets!

Basically what I did was for few days I kept burning basil with my candle (well before I even knew I was getting an interview) to attract money. I was going through hard times (primarily needed 911.78 to fix my broken laptop yay) and needed more money to come to me. Since I primarily build my income through tips. My candle was white because that was what I had available. I burned about 2-3 leaves of fresh basil (you can do dried if that’s all you have). A few times that week.

On the day of my interviews in the morning I plucked 2 (because that is my Numerology birth number) basil leaves and shoved them in my pocket. 

Grabbing as much rose quartz (which for you will be replaced with any stone you really vibe with) as I owned (which at the time wasn’t much. It was my pendulum and my rose quartz chips) I put that in my pockets after charging it with my intent to land a job, and with confidence in my abilities. 

* the point of having a stone you vibe with is to raise your energy and your vibrations as much as possibly. Not only does it help you relax and make you feel better, it also works well to have people view you in a stronger ‘light’. If you so feel the need to do, you can add stones that attract wealth. But hey not everyone gets to wear scrubs to an interview and can fit this much crap in their pockets

*at this point you can also get salt speak your intentions into it and shove it in your pocket

I carried these around in my pockets at ALL of my interviews. During one I immediately was given a second interview which they were obviously intent on hiring me.

At the Second interview (which was at another location) I was hired on the spot. They sent me home with paperwork and the next day I came in to do onboarding stuff.

There you go! That’s the spell super easy, because I am all about the easy.
