lots of sympathy for the loki show having to deal with a version of the character fresh off the avengers movie and therefore having to bring up “so like you’re a god of mischief and chaos what is this weird obsession with order and control and no free will and fascism suddenly” and loki couldn’t just say “it’s because Joss Whedon is stupid”
nope instead they have to just have him fast forward through a clip show of times other writers understood his character better down the line (it was nice seeing Ragnarok again, I miss her) and be like “yeah shit man i guess i SHOULD be more like that”
