I had too many thoughts about this for a comment, so I had to reblog. The first thing I asked myself was who would say yes.

Guy already has two friends with benefits: Jasper and Fenn. You cannot convince me that he isn't having sex with both of them. I think that makes him the winner by default.

Roy would probably think he'd have to carry his princely act into the bedroom when he gets married, so he'd be very interested in trying out all of his kinks with someone who won't judge him. Gotta get all of the fun stuff out of his system now before he has husbandly duties.

Lou would say yes to MC, but no one else. There's just something special about specifically her, which might defeat the purpose of casual sex. He'll catch feelings and pretend he didn't; he will not fool his birds for a single second.

Here's my reasons why the others would say no:

Grayson probably had casual hookups while he was with the Invidian army; Joel was probably among them. But it might not be a thing he seeks out in this season of his life; it would be bad if people questioned if Sherry was actually safe in his care. But 10/10, he thinks about something fast and furious behind Nox's stable.

Toa's sister sometimes goes to the academy to check up on him. I feel like casual sex would be frowned upon in Qelsum, and that is the LAST bit of information he would want to risk getting back to his father. He might've been up for it if he didn't have so much anxiety of it being discovered.

Lance and Dia would be too busy going off on their own to be aloof.

Tino, Aquia, and Knight would decline because they know they'll catch feelings.

Lynt and Rio didn't understand the assignment.

Lynt would crawl into bed next to you and fall asleep immediately. And…Like…You did ask him if he wanted to sleep with you. Technically, that was exactly what you asked for; it's just not what you meant. He'd probably decline because he'd rather nap and snuggle.

Rio would ask what the benefits are. Sex is probably something he would prefer to do with a lover, but he'd do pretty much any other non-sexual thing with you. You should cook together. He'll teach you his favorite recipes!

So, I voted for Guy.

Okay, Court of Darkness fans, I need help. I was today years old when I noticed the part I circled in green below was the same color as Roc's hair, but the same texture as his cloak floof. I honestly can't tell if his hair is just the part he's pulled forward that goes the his chest and the rest is cloak floof with a gradient, or if the purple part I outlined is the cloak floof and the rest is his hair (but I'm not sure why his hair would flair out like that at the bottom).

Waist length wouldn't even be the longest hair we've seen on a king. Louis's hair goes to his mid thigh or the back of his knees at least.

Switch Predictions

I saw in the app that the Switch port is going to have some of the Princes' Path and some of the Consort Paths, so unfortunately, I don't think we're going to get anything from the events, birthdays, anniversaries, the stories that popped into the shop, the secret chamber, or short stories (from the draw). Maybe they'll try selling that stuff separately as dlc.

14 love interests seems like a lot for them to shove in 1 game, so I think they'll break up the app into at least 4 parts:

Voltage's mobile ports go from $20 - $35. Two of them were broken into two parts: Enchanted in the Moonlight ($20 each; $40 total) and Star Crossed Myth ($30 each; $60 total). I'm thinking the price point is going to be around $15 - $20 per part (so $60 - $80 total).

As a free to play player, I have put $0 into the app. I had to budget my gems so I'd have enough for birthdays, events, etc. I didn't go the premium route for a bunch of characters, and I don't have all of the perspectives. If Voltage is going to try to sell me content I've already read for free, I will pass. I have a massive backlog of otome games to play through. But, if they're going to give me stuff I haven't read yet, I'll buy it.

I'm kinda curious though. How does everyone else think the content is going to be broken up, and are you ready to throw your money at Voltage?

This made me wheeze, but 100% agree. Lynt should have the body of Slenderman, but shorter and minus the tentacles.

How come all of the consorts are so muscular? I understand the valets (physical labour) and rio (sword fighting) but like, lynt? Why are his muscles so clearly defined? The man doesn’t move.

The same goes for most of the princes, like, do you not just sign papers all day? Why the pecs?

Tino Book 2

Just read chapter 2. We just met Tino's dad, and here's what I think so far...

Not getting much of an introduction to Tino's familiar was kinda funny to me. MC is just suddenly in a carriage with two men, a cat, a squirrel, and a raccoon.

I can't believe Daan only got reassigned to work for a rich family in the countryside. This game really hates punishing its villains.

It's sad we don't get to meet Tino's mom, but I'm floored that things are even more relaxed in the countryside. More relaxed than Liam? Liam-"let's just celebrate my birthday when everything's ready"-Akedia? They must not bother even getting out of bed out there.

Lynt says Styn is terrifying when he's angry, but I feel like this doesn't say much. If he rarely explodes with rage when he has good reason to, he's normal. If that's a daily occurrence, and it's over nothing, there's a problem. Also, I'm not sure what Lynt's bar for terrifying is. Lynt is very kind, so his bar could be on the floor. On the other hand, he tends to sleep on Guy, who terrifies most students at the academy.

One of the first things Styn says to MC is, "My Tino is not without his flaws, I fear, but he is exceptionally lucky to have you. I hope you will treat one another well." On it's own, that's probably not much to worry about. Nobody's perfect, and parents who think their kids are perfect probably raised entitled menaces and enable their bad behavior. But Tino's generally anxious temperament, zero self-esteem, and history of abuse is making me view this comment with a bit more scrutiny. 🚩 Welp, I'm uncomfortable.
