PEACE(SELF OBITUARY)
In a world of constant change and fleeting moments, I found myself approaching the final pages of my life's book. The ink is drying, and I cannot help but feel the bittersweet emotions that come with closing the chapter on this grand adventure.
Looking back on the epic tale that was my life, I can see both victories and defeats, moments of light and shadows of darkness. But through it all, I gave my heart and soul to every chapter, living each moment as if it were my last. I was a blazing comet, streaking across the sky, leaving a trail of fiery inspiration in my wake. My passions ignited flames in the hearts of those around me, always striving to make the world a brighter place. But even comets must come to an end, and so it is with me. My final breaths are like the last embers of a dying fire, flickering softly before fading away into the eternal night.
Yet even as I pass on, I know that my legacy will live on. The memories we shared, the lessons we learned, and the love we gave and received—these things will never die. They will continue to ripple across the universe like the echoes of a cosmic melody, a testament to the fact that I lived a life full of meaning and purpose.
So as I bid farewell to this world, know that I am at peace. I am content, knowing that my book of life was a masterpiece, a symphony of joy and sorrow, and a triumph of the human spirit. May my light continue to shine even as my physical form fades away, and may my legacy live on forever.

THE LEGENDARY BLACK MAMBA( LITERARY JOURNALISM)
Kobe Bryant, the Black Mamba, was more than just a basketball player. He was a legend. He dominated the court with his impeccable skillsand unwavering determination, leaving his opponents in awe. But his legacy extended far beyond basketball. He was a father, a husband, an entrepreneur, and a philanthropist.
Kobe was a force to be reckoned with, like adeadly snake, striking his prey with precision and speed. Like a Mamba, he had a fierce and intense personality that never gave up. He lived by his mantra, "If you don't believe in yourself, no one will do it for you," and it was evident in everything he did. Kobe's work ethic was unmatched. In his 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers, he won five NBA championships, two Olympic gold medals, and was named an NBA MVP once. He constantly pushed himself beyond his limits, always striving for excellence. It was this dedication that earned him respect from not only his fans but also his teammates and opponents.
In his retirement, Kobe continued to inspire others. He founded the Mamba Sports Academy to give back to the community and help young athletes reach their potential. He also became a vocal advocate for women's sports, empowering young girls to follow their dreams. Tragically, Kobe's life was cut short in a helicopter crash in 2020. His death sent shockwaves throughout the world, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. He may be gone, but his impact on the world of basketball and beyond will continue to inspire generations to come.
Kobe Bryant was more than just a basketball player. He was an icon, a leader, and a symbol of determination and strength. He was a Mamba – fierce, intense, and unstoppable. And even in death, his legacy still lives on, a reminder to all of us to never give up on our dreams.

MY JOURNEY (TRAVELOGUE)
My experience on my trip to Mayang Falls, in Trece Martires, Cavite, on March 18, 2023, where we bathed and had fun with my friends Although a relatively small waterfall, this hidden gem is "all natural", and not man-made, which makes it very special to the locals. There is no entrance or parking fee, and it is very easy to find.
When we arrived, we first took a photo of ourselves and the beautiful scenery. We quickly took off our clothes because we were going to bathe in the waterfall's very cold water. It was very deep, and even our tallest friend couldn't reach the very bottom because it was so deep. If so, I also tried to break it down so I could see the bottom. I almost drowned because, while I was going to the bottom, I was kicked in the face. I ran out of air, so I quickly climbed up, and thank God, I survived. One of my friends, Walter, screamed as if he had seen a ghost. The reason for his shouting was that there was a small snake swimming near our feet. We went up to see it, and it was very small, and its color was fascinating. So I tried to take it. But this friend of mine, Bryan, pushed me and said that I might get stabbed and die. I, on the other hand, argued and said unpleasant words. Because of that, the snake escaped. When we got up, we went back to where our utensils were, and we started cooking. While I was taking a stem to hand to Bryan for lighting, we lit more fuel and started cooking. While we were cooking, I was shaking, and I can say that I was very happy that day because the problem that could not be solved in my mind disappeared and was reduced.
We all tried to jump into the highest and deepest water. When I jumped, I got too high and felt a little nervous. But it feels so good because I have a new memory that I will never forget with my friends. So that when we become old friends, we will have memories to look back on and talk about how fun that day was.
If we ever return to that place, we hope that our children will be with us. Because it is really pleasant to bathe in deep and cold water. We even went to the cave to see what was there, and when we went, we discovered many insects and animals such as snakes, spiders, and bats. We were so fascinated by the beauty of color and style. We also planned to take that, but we also thought that we shouldn't because that's where they live and are used to, where they can live better, and for our safety. Maybe we don't know what other harm will result from our decision or if the animal we get might still have poison.
To this day, I still have a happy memory that I will never forget. I am constantly looking forward to new experiences and adventures in meaningful and fun places.

COFEE (TESTIMONY)
As I sit down to write this testimonial about my experience at the local coffee shop, I can't help but feel like I'm being taken ona journey - a journey filled with delicious beverages, cozy ambiance, and warm hospitality.
From the moment I walked through the door, I was struck by the serene atmosphere. It was like stepping into a cozy cocoon, where all the worries of theworld melted away. The soft hum of chatter and the sweet aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped me, like a warm embrace from an old friend.
As I approached the counter, I was greeted by a barista with a smile as bright as the sun. She took my order with a gentle grace, effortlessly weaving together a masterpiece of steamed milk and espresso. When I took my first sip, I couldn't help but be transported to a world of pure bliss. The creamy foam danced across my tongue like a ballet, while the rich espresso pulsed through my veins like a lively symphony.
But what really sets this coffee shop apart is the welcoming ambiance created by the staff. They make you feel like part of the family, engaging you in lively conversation and making sure you leave feeling happy and fulfilled. It's like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold winter's night - you feel safe, content, and joyous.
All in all, I can confidently say that this coffee shop is a true gem. It's a place where time slows down and every moment is savored. It's a haven where the love of coffee and the warmth of community come together in perfect harmony. I urge you - no, I implore you - to visit this little slice of heaven and experience it for yourself. You won't regret it.

MY LOVELY GIRLFRIEND(FACIAL RECOGNITION)
As I gaze at her face, I am struck by the complex beauty that resonates through her features. Her delicate cheekbones rise gracefully, while her brown eyes sparkle like the brightest stars in the sky. They are the windows to her soul, shimmering with depth and mystery. Her flawless skin, as smooth as silk, radiates a creamy glow that is both comforting and enlivening. The contours of her lips are perfect, forming a cupid's bow that exudes sensuality and warmth. They beg to be kissed, to taste the sweet nectar of her love. Her nose is small and refined, a tantalizing invitation to lean in and breathe her scent.
But it's not just the individual elements of her face that captivate me, it's the way they all come together to create a masterpiece of beauty. Her face is a symphony of curves and lines, each one playing its own unique melody that harmonizes perfectly with the others. I could spend hours getting lost in the intricacies of her face, tracing the contours with my fingers and soaking up every detail.
And then there's the way her face transforms when she smiles. It's like a burst of sunshine, flooding the room with light and warmth. Her lips curl up at the edges, revealing pearly teeth that glint like diamonds. Her eyes crinkle at the corners, expressing joy and mirth. It's impossible not to smile back when you see her grin, infectious as it is.
But what fascinates me most is the way her face is so uniquely hers. No other face in the world could quite match the way her eyes dance when she's excited, or the way her lips purse when she's deep in thought. Each detail of her face is a testament to her individuality and personality, and I am constantly in awe of how lucky I am to be able to recognize her in a crowd just by the look of her face.
In conclusion, my girlfriend's face is a work of art that I will never tire of admiring. From the gentle curves of her cheeks to the sparkle in her eyes, every aspect of her face is unique and captivating. I will always be grateful for the privilege of being able to recognize her face, and for the love and beauty that it represents.

FIRST BASKETBALL (DEFINITION ESSAY)
In 1891, James Naismith invented basketball in Springfield, Massachusetts. Basketball is a team sport in which two teams battle to see who can score the most points by shooting a ball into a basket. The game takes place on a rectangular court with hoop at either end. Passing or bouncing the ball while walking or jogging allows players to advance it along the court. They get two points if they shoot the ball into the basket, and three points if they shoot from behind the three-point line. A basketball court has five players for each team at any given moment, with around seven replacements per team on the bench.
When I was young, I wanted to play basketball. I practiced at my house, shooting as many shots as I could. After a few weeks of practicing, I saw progress in my form and asked my parents if they could put me on a basketball team. When I was in elementary school, I immediately joined the varsity at Maranatha Christian Academy. When I was in sixth grade, they transferred me to La Trinidad Academy, and I continued my varsity basketball there. At the start of the first day of tryouts, I was called to go to school the next day. At the end of the practice, I was relieved and worked like it was going to be my last day. I enjoyed playing basketball and got the satisfaction of victory every time my team ended up winning.
In general, I am largely focused on the ball and practically live on the court. not just due to the game, but also due to the friendships they form. You get to meet a lot of new people and spend hours playing with your pals without ever feeling bored. People play basketball in a variety of ways, which is one aspect I adore. Passer, playmaker, shooter, defensive player, dunker or highflier are some examples of different playing styles. I am still anticipating my next play, joining new teams, and achieving new goals in life.

MY LOLO(REFLECTIVE ESSAY)
In my grandfather's last moments, which are at his funeral, I still chose to play basketball more than the most important thing: he will be buried, and I will see him for the last time. I, on the other hand, have regretted it to this day, which still hasn't gone away from my mind. I feel sorry for what I did wrong, and I can't get it out of my mind that it was the very wrong thing I did in my whole life to change my grandfather in the game. Sometimes I still cry when I remember. Grandpa is the closest to me of all, and I am always with him in all my games; he even brings me up every time I play. My grandfather is always there to support me.
I realized from those times until now that I should have put my grandfather first. because playing basketball is something I can always come back to; it's just there and it doesn't go away. meanwhile, my loved one who is buried, I will never be able to see and be with again. Because of that game, my parents got mad at me. and I felt that my late grandfather was holding a grudge.
In conclusion, I learned that I should prioritize the people I love over my personal preferences. because in the end, I might just regret again that I won't be able to be with them again among my loved ones when it's too late. So I prefer to spend my time on meaningful things, especially my loved ones, because I realize they are more important than anything else on earth besides God.

BASEBALL GLEE (REACTION TO PERSONAL NARRATIVE)
Ryan was interested in baseball and agreed to try it out. During the tryouts, the coach explained how the sport works and how to catch the ball with one hand. Ryan caught on to his scheme and threw the ball back at him with full force, surprising the coach with curiosity and awe. The coach told Ryan to join the team for training and be assigned to the pitchers. The next day, the players were well fed, and the coaches were satisfied with their performance. The day came when the team received their jerseys and assigned positions, and Ryan was able to bag jersey #1. Ryan was then congratulated by their mother for being the most significant player on the team.
While reading the personal narrative of my classmate Ryan Cid Fangon, I could tell he was very happy as he shared his journey into baseball. I was very impressed with his ability to get on a baseball team right away. His writing is well written, which is why I immediately understood the flow of his narrative with correct punctuation and grammar. Because of this, I was encouraged to join baseball because, if you look at it, it's really amazing that you can say that even though it's hard and nervous to join, it feels good when you're part of a team.
What I learned from his life or from his personal narrative is to not just give up and just follow the dream in life because it is not immediately achieved if you don't work hard or persevere. Don't give up and get tired until you achieve it, and be proud and cherish any achievements in life, whether they're big or small, because it's what we worked for.

PERSONAL NARRATIVE
I MADE THE TEAM!
When I was young, I really wanted to play basketball. Every time the ball enters the ring, I feel like I am a complete player. I started to practice at my house—it was the only hoop available for me at the time. Every day, I would go outside and just shoot as many shots as I could so I could make my form better. After a few weeks of practicing, I started to see progress in my form—I made more shots than usual. Since I thought I was getting better, I decided to ask my parents if they could put me on a basketball team. My parents agreed without any hesitation. After that, I trained hard so that when the moment came, I could show off my skills. That's why, even though I was still in elementary school, I immediately joined the varsity at Maranatha Christian Academy. This was my first time, and luckily, we almost always win.
When I was in sixth grade, I transferred to La Trinidad Academy, and of course, I continued my varsity basketball there, but before that, there were tryouts again. Basketball tryouts were soon. I started to work extra hard, preparing myself for tryouts. My grandfather helped me improve my game. I was really nervous. I wanted to make the team so much. So, I pushed myself to improve. It was the beginning of the first day of tryouts. We did some basic drills that were pretty easy. There were a lot of people there, and it wasn't too hard. At the end of the practice, my name was called to go to school the next day. I was relieved. The second day I worked like it was going to be my last. I really enjoyed playing basketball, and I get the satisfaction of victory every time my team ends up winning.
Generally, my attention is almost always on the ball, and I almost live on the court. Not only because of the game but also because of the friendships that develop. You meet tons of people, and you are able to play with your friends for hours without getting a single thought of boredom. One thing I love about basketball is that people have many different styles of play. There are styles such as passer, playmaker, shooter, defensive player, and dunker or highflyer. Still, I am looking forward to my next play, new teams, and new achievements in life.
