Chapter 1: The Split

“What the Fuck Michael” was all that was asked, “How could you do this we are a team!” This wasn’t supposed to happen this way. We were just going to take a break, Recuperate and come back, but now Michael wants to put this on Hiatus possibly indefinitely.

“It’s not that simple Imane; we haven’t been home in years. I just really want to get back in touch with real people and stay in one place without having to worry about if I’ll make it to the next flight or if we’ll have all of our equipment all ready to go. I just want to be able to relax and not worry about it, and if we do return, we do; if we don’t, we don’t plain and simple,” and that was all that was said before Michael walked away.

So much emotion, It felt like the weight has just been Put on Imane’s shoulders, and at any moment, she feels like she could Collapse. Just as Imane thought of it, she just dropped to her knees with one single tear threatening to fall, “But if you don’t return, I don’t know if my love for you will either.”

Imane tries to compose herself as best she can before getting to the stage so she can face the music and Michael. Image tried so hard to shove these feelings down for Michael but then realized that even though she loves the music and the people she knew deep down this is for the best. ‘The show must go on,’ Imane thought.

Feeling the Rhythm and groove of the beat, Imane decided just to dance to keep her mind off of Michael. She didn't want the moment to end but sadly all things had to end. Michael and Imane both looked at each other with sadness and regret grabbed their respective microphones.

“Hello everyone,” Michael Started, “We wanted to thank you for allowing us to share our music and following us on our journey these past few years.” Imane continued for Michael, “but we also didn’t want to announce this, but Project Chaotic Love is going to be going on Hiatus. Now this doesn’t mean this is over but it does mean that we will be taking time for ourselves to relax.”

With a last goodbye, Imane and Michael walked off the stage for the last time ready to see where this journey took them.
