My laptop got nerfed and is currently in for repairs but once I get it back I think I'm going to archive this blog and bring Mary back somewhere less crowded and messy 🤘

I’m going to replay da2 so i can get this blog going again but in the mean time here’s a reminder that Mary is visually impaired and that her vision deteriorates over the years.  By the time of Trespasser she’s almost functionally blind and has a mabari she essentially uses as an assistance dog. If she lives long enough, she will eventually no doubt become fully blind.

  since i’m back for the first time in a while heres...

since i’m back for the first time in a while heres ur reminder that Mary is somewhat canon divergent in that: 

She took over the Red Irons in act 2 by either having Meeran killed or run out of town. The Red Irons basically become her own private merc company that she uses to run stuff in the city when she’s out doing stuff in the deep roads or while she’s away for mota. 

Linked to that, she has her fingers in just about every criminal practise in Kirkwall. the lyrium trade? yeah she has a stake in that. smuggled goods? yup. her basement probably becomes a storage space for illegal smuggled goods in kirkwall, and she uses the iron to keep various smuggling tunnels and stuff free of monsters and competition 

The only criminal practise she doesn’t have an involvement in is the slave trade, which she spends the whole time trying to take down because even she has some morals

When she takes over the Bone Pits full time she uses the old mines as a hiding spot and stuff for the mage underground 

Plays an active roll in the undeground from act 2 until it’s taken down

has murdered several templars in the streets at night and framed it on other gangs or just dumped them in the harbour and stuff 

is basically the largest criminal overlord in kirkwall by the time act 3 comes around

Nope, too late, here’s the kiss. Not that Mary minds, fuck no she’s missed her little sister more than she could possibly say. The issue is it’s been a while since she’s had a chance to really wash, and she’s been arse deep in demon guts for the past few weeks. Oh well, what’s a little demon goo between family when all is said and done? Throwing an arm ‘round Beth’s middle she easily lifts the smaller woman off the chair and pulls her into a hug so tight it hurts. It reminds her of when they were little, but in a way that doesn’t hurt like it used to. And besides, might as well get her well and truly covered in dirt while she’s at it-what else are big sisters for?

whats up i’m home for christmas break which means I’ll finally get to actually be here!! the holidays r kind of uh, intense for me for a myriad of personal reasons atm so I’ll probably spend a lot of time hanging out here for a break!!! i’ve missed this big angry girl so pls come chat to me or send me meta questions while I try and get a feel for her again!!!
