This new blog is dedicated to hosting a fandom event, Tolkien food week, where we share recipes we love and link them to Tolkien's works in one way or another. Recipes, fanfics, fanart or other.

Date of the event week: 3 to 9th november 2025, when all is cold and we all need soups and comfort foods and comfort characters.

Tensions run high as Adar and Elrond meet to negotiate outside the besieged city of Eregion. When the Elven commander refuses to give up the ring of power, Adar suggests an alternative solution that catches the Half-elf by surprise. The Moriondor will agree to an alliance between Uruks and Elves upon one very specific condition...a diplomatic marriage between Elrond and himself.

Elrond must grapple with political duty and personal desires as he considers Adar's proposal. Is he willing to surrender himself to the enemy for the sake of peace? Can the Half-elf heal a wounded Middle-earth by binding himself to a ruthless stranger?

Adar knows his desire for the Half-elf is dangerous, but he cannot resist his gentle beauty. Conquest requires patience both on and off the battlefield, and the Moriondor is determined to win Elrond's hand as well as his heart.

This was certainly enlightening... Considering the types of fics I write, none of these surprised me. Toxic dynamics and lots of sex? Sounds about right.

I will admit I didn't expect cunnilingus to top the list, but upon reflection, of course it does! (The men in my fics have many faults, but refusing to eat pussy is not one of them lol)

Also, I didn't realize that biting was such a frequently used tag of mine. (Maybe I need to dabble in omegaverse?)

And Mafia AUs have sort of unintentionally become my thing, so of course organized crime made an appearance. (If anyone has a ship in dire need of a Mafia AU, send me suggestions.)

I just posted a new chapter of The Diplomacy of Desire this week. However, I am already working on another chapter, so here's a snippet:

“We welcome your aid, commander,” Adar replied skeptically. “But I fear many of our wounded may be beyond even your skills as a healer. Defiance flashed across Elrond’s face before he schooled his expression back into neutrality. This brief glimpse of arrogance was oddly attractive. “My skills cannot be any worse than your preferred method of treatment,” he murmured, gesturing to the blade in Adar’s hand. “Step aside and let me try.”
