Sephora Eyeshadow Filter Palette
I decided to buy this palette while it was on sale for $15 (reg. $28). I got the Vintage Filter palette, which is what I’ll be reviewing. The other two palettes are The Sunbleached Filter (described as “soft and sun inspired”) and The Overcast Filter (”cool and breezy”). They are also formulated without Parabens and not tested on animals.

Packaging
The palette comes in a simple stock board box with the same image as the front of the palette itself. I personally love the smoothness and solidity of the palette, and it’s small enough to fit in a purse. I give it a 7/10 for packaging.
Color Options
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These colors would work decently on most skin types, but I wouldn’t consider it a staple in you’re daily makeup, as they are mostly generic nudes you can find anywhere else. The only color that really caught my eye on the lid was Distressed. It’s a peachy brown color that’s great as a transition shade. I give the palette a 5/10 for color.
Quality
Overall, I can say the matte shadows weren’t very good. Most of them were extremely sheer on the eyes and had a lot of fallout. I’d say the worst quality shadow would be Secret boudoir. It was very, very chunky and clumped together unlike any of the other shadows. The shimmers were alright, I enjoyed Rust-ic and #itsvintage the most. But when I cleaned the shadow swatches off, the sparkles remained all over my arm and wouldn’t come off. Antiqued, although fairly sheer, stained my arm. I give a 4/10 for quality.
Price
Tumblr media
The palette contains 10 colors, 8 0.031 oz. eye shadows and 2 0.075 oz. eye shadows. You’re getting a good amount of product for a sale price of $15. The price is definitely a solid 9/10 for the amount of product you’re getting, along with 10 colors.
Overall
The palette is a cute idea, but ultimately failed when it came to quality. I wouldn’t really recommend this palette, as you can find better quality in similar colors. I rate this a 6/10.
Thanks for reading and you can always ask me to do reviews for any product, I’m open to try most anything !

Starting Off
I started this blog as a way to show genuine reviews for products that YOU want! I buy all the products myself (unless otherwise stated) and all pictures I use are MINE! It wouldn’t make sense to use someone else’s pictures when it’s my review and I actually own it, right?
I rate all products on a scale 1-10 for several categories:
Packaging ~ Is it cute and packaged nicely, or is it covered in that difficult clear plastic we all hate?
Color options ~ Whether it’s foundation or a face palette, are there colors that will be useful for all skin tones and types?
Quality ~ Does the product do what it claims?
Price ~ Are you getting your money’s worth for what you’re purchasing?
Feel free to request a review for any item, I’d be happy to review it for you all!
