So many times he's basically said he likes men but he doesn't think he'd have sex with them (except all the times he has said he'd have sex with a man, usually as a bit because he likes the attention). Which is NOT the way a straight man talks. That's the kind of shit I was saying about girls before I had my first girlfriend lmao

If he had been aware of bisexuality/biromanticism and had it been more acceptable I think he would've explored that side of himself when he was younger. Especially considering all the time he spent in gay clubs as a teenager and kissing his bandmates I mean come on.

What I quite admire though is how much of a non-deal his sexuality is to him. Like he may like men, but he LOVES women. So it doesn't really matter to him and that's okay. And even when he was being slandered every day by tabloids in some shape or form, he never shied away from joking about being gay, and this was in the 90s and early 2000s when being gay WAS a joke. It added fuel to a fire but it was a fire that didn't hurt him. Love that.

There's also this bit in Feel that still makes me smile where a newspaper had published an extract from an unofficial biography that insinuated that Rob is "struggling with his sexuality." And his response was, while playing football with some friends, to go "Ooh I'm really struggling with my sexuality right now," and requested that no one pass him the ball for 30 seconds while he worked his way through it. I think that about sums up the discourse lol

Anyway Rob being bi is the one example where I feel comfortable speculating about a real person's sexuality. He's said it all himself.
