HC time: Red's great-grandpa was native Spanish speaker.

The Rabbit Hole used to be open, so Red's great-grandmother met her great-grandfather, and they fell madly in love and got married.

So, theoretically, Red can speak riddles (which is another language used by Wonderlandians, and Red, as their princess, learned it from a young age), and Spanish, which her great-grandpa taught to her grandma, who taught it to Bridget, and who taught it to her. Something like that 😅

Everyone keeps having the HC that Red is the one who would wear a suit to Castlecoming, but I think it would be the other way around?

Red is dressed by Bridget, who of course has a dress that happens to be just the right shade of red. She knows how to sew and mend and can make the dress fit like a glove. Bridget’s not allowing Red to go to a formal dance in pants. Absolutely not.

Chloe meanwhile asks Ella for help, who doesn’t have anything to her name until she arrives late to the party with a little magical assistance. So she takes Chloe to Charming instead, who grew two sizes already this year and has a suit that just so happens to fit her. With little tailoring on Ella’s part they get Chloe into one of her father’s suits with a bit of princess flare.

Red and Chloe meet up at the dance and Red gay panics cause suddenly she’s the princess and Chloe’s looking very handsome in a suit and it’s all very romantic.

(Not saying that Red can’t/wouldn’t wear a suit, but in this instance she doesn’t cause Bridget said no lol)
