When Mari read the text, there was only one thing that came to his mind. Take out. Who couldn't resist their favourite take out after a rough day? It really seemed like that coupled with just sitting down and being able to vent without judgement would be better than allowing someone he truly cared for sit and dwell on it by themselves.

After picking up the order, Marius headed over without any warning. It wasn't until he was standing outside their door that he finally replied to their text, telling them to open the door. He promptly knocked after hitting send.

"Come on, the food's going to get cold," he called out, chuckling a bit.

It was almost automatic when Aves felt the weight of Kyra's body next to their own. They leaned their head on top of their roommate and extended the bowl of popcorn. "Hey," Verónica whispered while offering a smile, wrapping an arm around Kyra's shoulder in the best attempt of giving her a hug. If they were being truthful, a more intimate greeting had crossed Ave's mind but that was a can of worms neither of them needed right now.

"April was a completely crabby today and I think she and Erick might have finally broken up," they muttered. "I'm half expecting she's going to call me tonight saying I have to go keep her company." There were days they loved their job but when their boss took out their emotions on Aves, it made them question a lot.

"How was your day? I half expected you'd beat me home tonight."

    despite running on 4-5 hours of sleep, verónica, gets up every morning at the exact same time; 6:30. it’s come to the point that they don’t even need an alarm clock anymore - they just get up at the same time. however, do not try to talk to them before they’ve had at least two cups of coffee.

    verónica is a bit of an enigma. they have a fan at the foot of their bed - that usually is on the medium or high setting. the cool air feels nice. however,  verónica also likes to be bundled up at night and is usually wrapped fully in a thick comforter. regardless of the season.

    none of the above.  verónica is very conscious of their carbon foot print and although they are just one person, they like to walk as much as they can. if they absolutely have to, they’ll take an uber pool.

       “It was a couple weeks before my grandpa died - my dad’s dad. I had just turned twenty and we went for a hike. He woke me up at the crack of dawn so that we’d have a good head start on the day. And when we got to the top of the mountain - god that view was so breathtaking. We had a lunch and we talked. Told me all his secrets to life. ‘Always tell the people that matter how important they are to you. Never say things you don’t mean. Live boldly. And when you get married, you tell them three things every day: I love you, You’re my everything and Thank you for choosing me.’ And when we finished lunch, we hiked back down to the truck and drove back home. Later that night, during dinner and before calling it a night, I watched him say those three things to my grandma and smile it brought to her face as if it were the firs time he ever said them.
