The fact that to Mira, Rumi and Zoey are her family. The way she always asks if they're okay, the way she makes sure they're comfortable. The way she doesn't allow harm to come their way. The way she protects them from what they don't even notice. The way she's always there when they're in trouble.

The way that while Rumi worries about being perfect and Zoey worries about being enough, Mira worries about them being okay.

The way Mira loves them.

robot discrimination allegories are kind of tired and hard to do right but i do think theres smth interesting in exploring the themes of humanization and dehumanizion with androids. like customer service robots built to be humanoid while the worker drones aren't. how certain people may be more willing to empathise with a robot that looks like a white person over a real human being. would companies want to create androids that act as humanlike as possible in order to exploit customers empathy? or would they do the opposite in order to avoid questions about ethics and sentience? much to think about. much to think about.

sometimes i need to remind myself that i'm writing fanfiction for free and i'm allowed to have a shitty sentence or two

I want black children to be seen as children and not treated like adults. I don’t want black boys to be targeted as black men or black girls to be written off as “acting too grown.”

I want them to pursue their interests and dreams and not have anyone stand in their way. I want them to grow up and only know racism as a thing of the past, something that’s never happened to them.

I want them to be loved, and safe, and supported and respected.

I want a better world for our black children.

Album Update!! - Prologue EP

hey everyone!! so my next album is taking a while, as im trying to take it at my own pace, and since i already have a few songs out on YouTube, i figured i would release them to streaming in a little EP. it's going to include "What's Next?", "FREAK", and "I AM A WEAPON" (and maybe, just maybe, something else as a little treat for being so patient <3)

i also have remastered these in form with my current standards so they may be worth a listen on streaming in addition to the YouTube videos. love you all, and hopefully more updates soon!
