Someone asked if I'd redesign Mollymauk and my answer is absolutely

I'll take any opportunity to draw molly

In my headcanaon molly uses all pronouns and just slept in their grave too long and rose again the same just sleepy.

Coat is simpler just having sun moon and stars iconography and the chest tattoo is flowers growing from a broken heart.

Anyone else ever just sit and think about how much Mollymauk loved stories. We see it in the way he tells all his lies about his past and even his elaborate guise as the Duke, but his love of stories is very tangible everywhere.

I love imagining Molly talking to Yasha after they became closer, telling her about his short years as a person as if they were an entire lifetime worth of information; they are to him, in a way. I wish he could've been around longer because I couldn't even believe how extra he would get about telling them about how he met Yasha. He loved her to death and helped rescue her from a mob, and as much as he'd make himself look like a hero, you KNOW he'd be embellishing the story to make Yasha sound just as equally capable (another example of him ensuring even his embellishing does more good than it ever could harm). Yasha had gone through hell and was given a second chance and a clover from a small little purple tiefling who loved telling stories. She fought so hard to keep him alive so he could keep telling stories and he gave her the chance to be his greatest one of all time. Your honor I love them so much it hurts.

Even just thinking of the Duke story again, if it hadn't just been Beau that was told, I know he would've had so much more fun with it

I keep imagining him telling Jester all the details of his time as the Duke, acting out all the scenes and making Yasha play her roll too. He'd beg Nott to stand in a blare as one of the sheep he judged, maybe even try to convince a miserable Fjord to pretend to be the fuckwad lawmaster to make Jester laugh more.

He loved being able to use his stories to show that it didn't matter how much time you had, the world was what you made it. And this tief wanted to make it so much more colorful, even if for a few moments. I don't think I'll ever be able to stop getting emotional over how much he loved his friends and would've had even more stories to share and even more stories to gain. Essek was saved from being told dramatic recountings of every quest they had by Molly dying LMAO him and Jester would've been an unstoppable force prying their way into that man's heart. He already pried his way into Beauregard's, someone who was closed off to prevent herself from being hurt. He also pried his way into Caleb's, who I don't even have to explain why that's impressive. Everyone's, really. Anyway I think Molly is just an outstanding character and deserves so much.
