there is a non-insignificant amount of “leftists” on the tweet app who are mad that the disciplined, principled, and organized student encampments have rules against recreational drug usage and sex, accusing them of “gatekeeping” 🤓☝️ and “puritanism” 🤓☝️ like little freaky ass 69 gods. this is the absolute state of western individualist hedonism. this is what happens when you go decades without organizing and have no recent example of what a successful, pointed attempt at agitation is like, so you think everything should be a hippie gathering like burning man, instead of something like the BPP, who had similar regulations and advanced many of their goals. if you want to assert your (anarchists i have no smoke for you but please close your ears) AUTHORITY over an institution that is controlled by the ruling class, forcing them to divest from a genocidal entity, you must have some amount of discipline and attempt to keep behavior that could result in petty interpersonal conflict to an absolute minimum. you must have focus. it’s not a cookout or a party. this isn’t supposed to be fun…these kids are organizing against the intellectual arm of the ruling class. every day i become more third worldist. 😭
