Hi~

So this is my first blog so let’s start with who i am... i am a new mom as of October and i work full time (plus a part time job) as a therapist. I work in the mental health field and my husband is a police officer (a good one of course). In 2020 we went on our honeymoon in Hawaii, got pregnant, moved out of our home for the past 11 years, and had a baby. This was just our lives..not even considering what we have all been experiencing... a pandemic, riots/protests and political craziness. Personally 2020took a major toll on me. Of course hormones never help during difficult times but i think they were very difficult regardless of hormones. This blog is going to be my story and my challenges as a person and professional. Because I learned that mental health professionals are not supposed to support the thin blue line...nobody is supposed to. But if you do that means you supported Trump and that means you’re racist. So this is my blog to express myself openly without guilt or fear of losing professional relationships.
