I'm going to blab about my BLI oc Barbara Morales.

Morales Fun Facts

She is actually a droid, but she is unaware of this. Her creator implanted her memories of his late daughter.

Morales thinks, ironically, droids are just tools to be used, not sentient beings.

Morales is powered off of vegetables. She is vegan.

She does not get jokes or any sort of humor.

She cannot even help it but she ties all conversations back to BLI propaganda.

She is very literal and takes things at face value.

I just came across an old picture of my Destroya painting and it is insane how much more alive he looks just by adding the outlines and all the black details!!! By the time I took the first picture, I was pretty much done with most of the color except for maybe some minor details and some shadows. And he the way the chest plate improved with the outlines and scratches?? But the biggest difference is in his face and I cannot believe that all it took was some black lines, I did not change a thing about the colors and yet it looks just so much better and way more real, almost like he's wearing a face filter in the first two pictures.

Really the only thing I like better about the first one is that the stones look so much more 3d without the outlines but it was a worthwhile sacrifice

Spent aaaall night drawing this! Binge-drawing from like 5 pm to 2 am, bahaha. This was a concept I was saving in case I got into a zine, but tragically I didn’t make the cut! Less tragically, it means I could make it now. 👀♥ I love the killjoy world so much, these characters are a delight. This doesn’t follow the comic timeline perfectly or anything, I just love the idea of them having the Girl since she was a baby. I hope you guys like it!! I’m like…  90% happy with it. Which is rare for me! Sorry it’s so sappy, I never said I was a star writer, okay! 😞
