So I just watched Uchiage Hanabi...

I'm still a little confused as to what's happened at the end. Friends that I went with said it may be one of those endings where it's up to how you interpret the ending... even then I've got no clue. Can anyone care to explain how they saw the ending?

Overall the movie was good. Music was good, animation was well done (many scenes reminded me of the Monogatari series - especially the close ups - but it is made by Shaft) although there wasn't much character development. I was definitely happy to hear some of my favourite seiyuus in this film however.

What are your guys' thoughts?

One Piece 840

Chapter 840 - Iron Mask

Not surprising to see Vegapunk connected to this, what surprised me was Judge had worked with him in the past.

It pains me to see Sanji losing to his scummy family again, if only the Vinsmokes played fair… of course they won’t.

Until we get more information, how I understood this was Ichiji to Yonji have been genetically modified by Judge but Sanji (so far) is declared a normal human being. Also, Judge brought up that Sanji had a mother but passed away. What about the other three and Reiju? Could this be related to why only Sanji’s eyebrows swirl to the right?

Plus, Reiju was not addressed when talking about the ‘outer skeleton’. Has she developed her ‘outer skeleton’ or is there more to it?

Finally, that extended character backstory. As if him and Zeff being stranded on an island for how long was bad enough, now you got this.

Let’s jump into it.

Chapter 203: The Wind Rises The match is still close as ever, Yamamoto proving he is the ace and not Lev. Nohebi’s Kuguri realises a weakness in Lev and takes advantage of it. Also, Nohebi showing the audience how to act like student athletes although some at falling for it.

Nohebi’s injured ace, Numai, comes in as a pinch server and manages to get them 20-20 thanks to Nohebi tactics. “Do whatever it takes to win as nothing is certain” seems to be their motto. A service ace gets Nohebi a one point lead, now it’s a race for the second set.

Shokugeki no Soma 162

Let’s jump into it.

Chapter 162: I

As everyone would have guessed, Yukihira declines Tsukasa’s invitation. It’s surprising to see how selfish he is despite his sad, nervous behaviour. Fact of the matter is, Yukihira wants to be the best because of Yukihira style cooking and not the Elite Ten’s/Nakiri Azami’s cooking.

Erina returns to her classes after contemplating why Alice and Yukihira are fighting against Central. Soon enough, she and Hisako discover Yukihira and Tsukasa in the same room and just slyly eavesdrop. That ending, a declaration through shokugeki... against the Number 1 seat? I love ya Yukihira but isn’t it abit too early?

This is giving me Megumi vs. Shinomiya vibes. My gut feeling is telling me next chapter Erina will interrupt this battle - someone has to.

Chapter 68 - That S Thing

Okay, some plot progression we got in this chapter. Firstly, did Furuta really turn Shiono into pate? if so, gross. Sasaki unlocking all doors on the first two levels of Cochlea and he goes searching for you know who... Hinami. Also, when Sasaki said ‘Before he gets here’, is he referring to Arima?

Look, Arato is a good character and all - but I think we all wanted Hinami’s onii-chan to save her. Speaking of Arato, he encounters Arima... death flag? Plus that Hide and Sasaki/Kaneki moment. ‘Give my life for someone else’... another death flag?

On a side note - Hinami is considered ~SS rating. Damn.

Let’s jump in.

Chapter 166 - Strange Fruit

King shows the true form of his spear, Chasteifol. He easily creates a deep hole and sends Dolor’s representative falling down. Again, he releases Diane from the vines and defeats Gloxinia’s representative with ease but in return, takes a toll on King’s body/stamina.

As all looks well, Dolor’s representative returns and lands a clean hit on King. Thankfully, Diane protects him from a second hit. Let us readers hope that King’s actions can jumpstart Diane’s missing memories.

Boku no Hero Academia 82

Firstly, anime is coming soon - can't wait.

Chapter 82 - Round and Round and Round

The first half of the story wasn’t really important imo. Maybe Dabi clone’s monologue had some interest in it, but nothing too much to delve into.

Present wise, Villain Vanguard vs Midoriya’s group. Himiko’s obsession with Midoriya shows a lot in this. Aoyama takes a sneak ‘naval’ shot at the evil magician but ultimately they manage to rescue Tokoyami. However Bakugou does not escape the villains, no attempt either. Also, Dabi is familiar/connections with Todoroki - maybe through Endeavor?

Okay, one more to go.

Chapter 179 - Time After Time

I was actually wondering if the children would accept the reward after Korosensei’s death, of course we knew they would decline but you never know. The moon starts to reform which a sad moment but again everybody needs to go through change.

Seven years down the road, Karasuma marries Irina (Thank God!) and the class of 3-E occasionally visit their old classroom and repair the damages.Hopefully we see all of 3-E somewhere or at least get information on what they are up to next chapter - they are following Korosensei’s Book of Advice. Also, I think we all know who Kayano is referring to.

Hey guys! So new format - I’m gonna try and make these thoughts short cos life is totally overtaking Tumblr. So hope it works out, now let’s jump in.

Chapter 197 - Snakes vs. Cats

If people believed Nekoma didn’t make Nationals because they lost to Fukurodani, avid anime/manga viewers of sports genre know Tokyo usually have three teams go into Nationals because that’s how it is.

Now this match, we can see why the captain dude of Nohebi is a douche... and a snake. Sucking up to the referee and portraying how a proper high school athlete should be, bullies Lev and smashes the ball into Taketora’s face. Let’s hope Kenma and Kuroo can smack the sh*t out of him.

Half a year timeskip and we got new members but where’s Mutsuki? Yonebayashi still the same as ever, please don’t change. Urie is using a new Quinque - Ginkui, which I thought was Noro because of the live-eating tentacles. After much research (wiki) I was right... chyeah!

Matsuri  has been promoted to Special Class and S2 Squad Leader... shocking! Of course he plans to rule CCG (no surprises there) and Urie would love be S2 or S3 Leader, but he has to play the ‘loyal’ dog in the meantime. Hinami still stuck in Cochlea - but wait, disposal? not her too! All she wants is to see her onii-chan

Speaking of which , Sasaki bumps into Shiono-san, asking for the One-Eyed Ow... I mean author Takatsuki Sen. But why is the fox Furuta with Sasaki?
