so this is a song i wrote mid-pandemic just as a kinda like, experiment i guess? it's meant to be in the style of a duet musical number sorta thing. and it's def not me singing both parts... nope.

used a short one of mine this time, one of the first i made tryna experiment w music software and whatnot.

manic gloom is what i call my music project that's mostly acoustic guitar and i often add electronic drums if i'm not feeling too lazy lol.

i started another project mid-pandemic tryna pass the time and i call it ghostbody. that one's just me messing around with electronic loops and beats cause i just felt like trying out a different sound. i keep most of them pretty short and the lyrics are typically on the more repetitive side.

so i kinda rushed a bit on the "next to you" amv tryna get it done for valentine's day (and still wasn't able to anyway lol) but i kept noticing things i wished i'd done differently so i did a lil re-editing and made a new version.

i attempted to reach out to the creator on yt asking if it was ok to put some music on it but never heard back & didn't hate how this turned out so i'd like to share. i've actually dubbed it before too & kept it unlisted since it's not my animatic.

(but this is my original song and i kinda don't know exactly what the policy is for if doing this sorta thing is "ok" or not so please, if i offend anyone in the slightest by putting this out there, please let me know cause i'll take it down post-haste)

my older sister made the album art, based off another track on there called "undertow" that i asked her to use as inspiration. she's cool as hell & i'd def @ her but she doesn't have tumblr. a talented artist though who shares in my love of animations of all kinds and actually rec'd that i give she-ra a watch. five years later and i still can't stop lol thanks a lot bro
