My dad…. He was a lot happier before everything happened, before mom walked out on us…. He would smile more, laugh more, from what I can remember…. At least, when mom wasn’t around that’s how he was…. After she left he took over taking care of me. He helped me with my schoolwork really late sometimes and… and he tried to be patient with me, but there were times when he would yell if he became too stressed, but…. but he never hurt me. He was a good dad to me, a-and he still is. I mean…. He has to be doing this stuff for a reason, right…? I-I have to learn things and this is a way for me to learn them best, right…?

Would Manny respond negatively to Roy if Roy found him? I mean... yeah Roy's his father but he's also one of the main reasons why Manny's in this situation in the first place.

I’m…not sure. There’s..there’s a chance Manny would be happy to see his father after such a long while…and..there’s a chance he..may not react well, due to, as you mentioned, Roy is the reason he’s in the situation in the first place.We may just have to see how things turn out. But I will be watching close, just in case things start to go downhill. I don’t trust that fucker.

If you really want to know, I... I killed her.... I killed that horrible woman one night when Manny was still a young boy. She'd been horrible ever since he'd been born.... insulting him, berating him, saying he was useless just because he was developmentally challenged. I couldn't.... I couldn't take it anymore....

I had to make a choice. I was at my wits end. I had contemplated taking my own life, but then that would've been leaving him with HER and I didn't.... I couldn't put Manny through that.... I couldn't.... and knowing her she would've used it to make him feel even worse about himself, blame him for my choice.... so I made a different choice and I took her out.
