Fanfic idea!

I was very bored and talking to a friend about "unlikely character scenarios", where some character does or reacts to something very out of character.

She mentioned Sinbad and I responded: fatherhood. So I wrote a fanfic. I don't regret it.

Yes, I made Sinbad a father in a story. I was partly motivated by that Omake where he has a nightmare about having multiple children and then get pretty scared of it lol. I also remember someone making a comment on some social media about how unlikely it is for a man who has so much sex to have NO bastard children running around, especially in a medieval fantasy setting. Again, I think another interesting idea I see floating around is for Sinbad to have someone who is equally stubborn and who treats him like a "normal" person. Usually fanfic interprets this as romantic or antagonistic relationships, but I like to play with the idea of ​​Sinbad as a father because I find fatherhood to be extremely humanizing and could give Sinbad more perspective on his own helplessness and humanity.
