There has been one time when the Goddesses cried.
Three drops lifted their sorrows, three drops weighed down their cheeks as the Mother, the Wife, the Sister tried to console the Daughter, the Lover, the Partner. They were both inconsolable.
Immediately, Wynona, Sheba and El-Ahrairah felt their pain and came to them. Each of the children picked up a drop and cradled it in their arms, giving it love, support and adoration. After a while the drops hardened and became stones. Amazing, bright, colourful stones with unimaginable beauty and extraordinary variations in their colours.
The first who came forward was El-Ahrairah, the prince with the thousand enemies, gifted the stone back with the advice of springiness, resilience and swiftness.
"My queens, he said, do not let troubles weigh you down. Just hop, mate and sleep when it pleases you! I have had the most joyous of lives while hopping around the great planes."
Then came Sheba, the Lord of fungi and corrosion returned the tear as a dark grey stone that sparkled in the light. His advice was one of patience, durability and endurance.
"As creatures leave this plane, young ones sprout everyday. Spring always returns after the snowfall, my Dears, so be patient and the sun will shine again tomorrow."
Last came their firstborn son, Wynona to bow in front of the Goddesses. He held the stone close to his core and said:
"Lordesses of the deep seas and unexplored caves, Queens of the birds flying high and the fish diving low, Creators of everything, let me to return this reminiscent of sorrow as a gift of gratitude now. You are strong and indestructible, but on the days that seem darkest than any fate, remember that you have each other on your side. For every pain that you feel, we can help you carry the weight. Now please allow me, Mothers, to stand next to you and embrace you."
He hugged his mothers and they rejoiced. For his advice was the most important of them all, the advice of solidarity.
#my writing#Venn worldbuilding#Ditmas stones#ok so im thinking of making these stones like wondrous items of legendary rarity#i still have to think like what each and everyone does cause ya know they are going to be themed#yes yes yes i know i am stealing El-Ahrairah from#Richard Adams but i fucking love watership down so freaking much i just had to use it

Wynona and Shebah
As the Wives made the world, Enya made the seas and the beaches and the dark trenches, Ayne made the mountains and the forests and the grassy fields two new beings came to be.
One was the sky a bright, joyful lad named Wynona, meaning first born. He emerged from a smile, from the feeling of contentedness, from a warm hug. Once the Wives were done with their creations they took a step back and looked at it all with pride. They embraced in celebration of their creation and Wynona emerged.
The second one was darkness, he smelled of death and he looked sickly, he was named Shebah. He came to be on his own, he was no creation of the Goddesses, he did not emerge from a feeling and was not birthed from a womb. When it was his time to come, he came. The first time the Wives and Son saw him was on the first winter. When the flowers withered and the grass was no more. There was no aggression to his movement, no resentment in his heart. He was peaceful, serene.
The Goddesses gave Wynona the plane above the earth, to shine and nurture the seas and the mountains with his brightness, and Sheba the plane below the earth, to dispense of the dead leaves and the carcasses in order to give back to the earth.
#my writing#Venn worldbuilding#Wynona and Shebah#ok ok ok so im thinking maybe making them gay cause Wynona is def gay and Shebah is like ace and genderless af so im thinking of doing like#a Hades Persephone thing between them#but i dont know#its mainly the reason i didnt make Shebah a son to the Mothers cause that would be incest but what am i even saying the mothers are wives#and sisters at the same time like sisterwives but they are goddesses so i guess it doesnt matter that much???

Enya and Ayne
We've all heard of deities that represent dark and light, good and bad, life and death, yin and yang. Dualities that are complete opposites and extremes, fire and ice, mother and father, cruel and smooth. Now it is time for something new. Do not give me any more black and white, heteronormative bullshit, give me green and blue. Give me equal, truly, amazingly equal.
Dualities up until now have served the purpose of extremity, one or the other, where balance comes only with distance from both. But this time has passed. Now it is time for dualities who are identical and unique in their own way, where balance is within both, so even when they come together there is serenity.
Enya and Ayne are identical twins, two mothers, two sisters, two lovers, two creators who represent dusk and dawn, rather than midnight and midday. They are together in symphony. Not the opposing Sun to Moon, but rather Sun and Sky or Moon and Stars. One can not suffocate the other, one can not extinguish the other. One is blue like the sea the other is green like the forest. Enya has shallow beaches with soft sand, but also deep trenches with vile beasts, just like Ayne has grassy sunny fields but also deep dark caves. Each one is a complex character with both soft corners and sharp edges at the same time. They are balanced, truly, amazingly. When they come together they do not clash or crash, they mold and embrace.
They are worshipped as a whole, never alone. The humans respect their connection and always worship them together, pouring a little bit of seasalt alongside some dead leaves of hibiscus.
#my writing#Venn worldbuilding#Enya and Ayne#this is a new project about making a complete world for my dnd campaign#these are the prominent deites in one of the kingdoms

✎ Moodboards for other people’s WIPs:
✹ The Fairy Theory, a WIP by @capymaraa ✹
Αfter The Cataclysm, a decimating event that brought the world to its knees, rebuilding efforts have started. The Republic, a city recovering from years of anarchy and war, struggles for a semblance of normalcy, but instead is besieged by a government so set on returning to a pre-Cataclysm normal that it suffocates itself with corruption and control.
Using a terrible accident from the past and the folktales it spun in time, the government has turned on people with multiple dæmons, claiming they wield more power than any human should. And so, what sort of threat could multidaes pose for the normalcy they’ve striven so hard to build? After all, only Fairies were supposed to have more than one dæmon.
Fairies are revolutionaries. They fight for their liberation. Follow the siblings Pedro an Belen among with other Fairies as they struggle for survival.
