Me: Oh. I don't have a ticket.

Ticket guy: ...

Me: I have a Metro card?

Ticket guy: That's for the subway, sir.

Me: Well when I came on a train from the airport, I used a Metro card to get off--

Ticket guy: This is another form of transportation, sir.

Me: Oh. How much do tickets cost?

Ticket guy: Twelve dollars.

Me: Ok. (opens wallet) I have a dollar.

Ticket guy: ...

Me: Do you take credit card?

Ticket guy: .....

Stranger sitting next to me: ..............

Ticket guy: Give me the dollar.

Me: (gives him the dollar)

Ticket puncher guy: Actually, keep the dollar. I'll figure out what we can do.

The ticket puncher guy leaves. Four stops later, I'm at my destination and he hasn't come back. I stand up and move toward the exit. I look back at the other passengers. They're all staring right back. In awe, I'm guessing. Because I know what they're all thinking. "That man there just saved twelve dollars."

What tablet do you use to animate and will you be my everything?

I use an old Wacom Cintiq.  I got it back in 2009 when the economy was going all bad and people were selling the Wacoms they used to make art in exchange for money they used to buy food.

Oh hey, why don't I just show you?  I got a thing now that takes pictures for just such an occas--oh no.  The flash is reflected on the screen.  Oh well.  I hope it doesn't blind you.

Oh, and no, I can't be your everything.  You need a variety of non-Mark things for a well-balanced life.

I'm sorry.  I did just get my first ever smartphone this weekend.  So maybe now I'll be a better tumblrer.  We'll see.  My priorities are to be a good person, a good friend, a good son, a good brother, a good brother-in-law, a good uncle, a good artist, a good thinker, a good relaxer, a good eater, a good sleeper, and then after that be a good tumblrer, which is still very far above being a good driver or investor.

I'm trying!  It's just sometimes I forget to try.
