no one was really shocked, chemistry was there from the start. you met through friends a while back and, because of this, you grew close due to how often your friend groups hung out together. despite being within a group of friends, you both seemed closer to eachother than with the others. feelings started to arise in both of you as skinship and flirting got more frequent. neither of you knew how to confess, however. the fear of having your friend group react badly to two of their members dating lingered in both of your minds. hed talk to his friends about the situation in private and thats when he found they all had been secretly routing for you two. this spurred slight confidence in him. he would be freaking out, wanting to make sure the way he asked you was amazing and sure to make you say yes. he woke up one morning with confidence and adrenaline. he rushed to the nearest flowershop to buy you a bouquet of the flowers he knew you loved, then showed up at your doorstep and choked out the cutest but sweetest confession.

ateez when drunk

hongjoong:

the functional drunk. takes a while to get him drunk but when he does, and if the functionality breaks, hes a crying mess. probably latched onto yunho and crying over how much he loves his members.

seonghwa:

literally a wine mom. has to be aged atLEAST 8 years. dabbles in restaurants wine tastings and prob those wine and paint nights. if he ends up out with the members he's probably casually drinking wine with the restaurant owner while the other reek havoc. doesnt get drunk because he's responsible™.

yunho:

just wants to go home. probably the biggest light weight so he ends up the DD. also leads him to being left to clean up after the rest. when he does drink tho dont go NEAR him bc he will latch onto you and never let go.

yeosang:

seonghwas wine tasting buddy. prefers white over red. when he wants so switch it up he orders a frilly drink but ends up consuming more alcohol soaked fruit than the actual drink.

san:

A MESS. probably starts out crying but ends up screaming and throwing fiSts at whoever so much as breathes in his (or wooyoungs) direction prob mingi. is the reason everyone has to go home.

mingi:

slurring his words and singing bad karaoke after one shot. complains he wants to go to the sauna every two minutes since they all are together anyway basically a subtle "hey lets get naked!".

wooyoung:

gets super affectionate and kisses anyone in site. tries bothering jongho but ends up getting pushed away and ends up around yunho instead. pitch increases 1000%.

jongho:

probably a bystander and watches all hell run loose in front of him while casually drinking yeosangs untouched drink. dont. take. him. to. noraebang. the speakers end up break by how load hes screaming into the mic and most likely gets kicked out.

[ 8:23 pm ] "yah y/n" jeongin says as he lightly pokes your side causing you to jump.

"did that tickle?" he laughs and pokes you again. you jump once again and slide away from him on the couch so he cant continue his actions.

"oh my god so you are ticklish" he laughs and moves to tickle you again so you jump up from the couch.

"i am nOt" you lied and started to walk away.

"yes you areeee" he teased and started running after you. you both ran around the dorm until he finally caught you, wrapped his arms around your waist, and started to move his fingers up and down your sides. you squeaked, legs giving out, and falling to the floor. he followed suit.

"jeongin stop plEase" you choke out between laughs. when he finally stops, you immediately reach up and start tickling his sides. he squeakes and gets up off of you to start the chase once again. you both ran around the dorm laughing and screaming eachothers names.

once you both entered the hallway a door swung open and chan enters.

"HYUNG DONT LET HER TICKLE ME" jeongin yells out of breath. as he ran closer, chan wraps his arms around him and holds him tight.

"Y/N COME GET HIM! I GOT HIM!" he yells backs as jeongin squirms in his arms.

you ran to where the two boys stood and started to tickle jeongin sides. chan let go and ran to protect himself from a potentially angry jeongin. jeongin again fell to the ground out of breath from laughing and you fell next to him. together you both sat in the hall trying to catch eachothers breaths and laughing in remembrance.

"what were you going to say by the way" you asked still short of breath.

"i honestly dont remember" he laughs out.

i saw those "where would you sit" in class with pentagon things floating around and i thought why not expand on what they would actually be like as your classmates!!

jinho: need a pencil? hes got it. takes the best notes and prob has 40 colored pens he uses for them. definite mom of the class and is put in charge when the teacher steps out.

hui: goodie two shoes and top of the class. way too nice to not let people copy his hw. pray you get paired up with him in a group project.

hongseok: the athletic one. somehow always sweaty. everyone, and i mean everyone, ever has a crush on him, lunch ladies included. doesnt study but still does so fucking well. good at everything it just comes with ease.

shinwon: definitely has his whole bag full of snacks. prob sits in the back and stares out the window. never has a pencil, please give the boy a pencil.

changgu: teachers pet. probably the one that asks if there is any homework. tutors others for free bc hes just an angel like that.

yanan: sO shy but so smart. the hidden gem of the class. will panic if he gets lower than a 90 on a test. never missed a day of school in his LIFE.

yuto: other classmates swear theyve never heard him say a word. if someone hears him talk for the first time, itll be the talk of the whole sChool. the type of dark dreamy anime character everyone swoons over.

hyunggu: everyones favorite. students, teachers, staff, janitors, you name it. everyone knows his name and has such a good rep. his sweet smile is just the icing on the cake.

wooseok: has to sit in the back bc hes too tall and blocks everyones view of the board. falls asleep every class and if he's conscious hes reading manga.

hyojong: lOud. definitely the bad boy type that gets detentions a loT. looks scary and intimidating but when he opens up to you is a comPlete angel.

[ 11:23 pm ] "wooseok~" you hummed as you climbed over his torso, resting a leg on either side. his cheeks flushed bright red.

"omg youre blushing" you said with a laugh and pinched his burning cheek.

"no im not its just really hot in here" he says avoiding your eyes. "i should go fix the thermostat" he mumbles trying to sit up. you fall flat onto his chest pushing all your weight onto him.

"no youre not lets just stay here" you whine, loving the comfort his body gave you.

he laughs, voice vibrating against your ear. he wraps his arms around your legs, swiftly picks you up and stands up off the bed. you screamed at his sudden actions, clinging onto his back with your arms and legs. he walked across the room in a few steps and fiddled with the thermostat.

"there" he sighs once he found the desired buttons and walked back toward the bed. he drops you on it, plopping himself down next to you. "lets sleep baby" he hums happily, pulling you into his chest.

"now its so cold in here wooseok....."

[ 11:46 am] hyunggu hadnt told you where you were going but he was busy running around the house collecting things all morning and putting them in the car.

"ggu~~" you whined as he zoomed past you again.

"get ready babe we are gonna leave soon!" he yells back at you, entering the garage once again.

"cant you just tell me where we are going?" you pleaded once he entered the house again.

"nooo bc that would take the fun out of it" he laughs and places a light kiss on your cheek as he walked by.

"hey baby we are here" hyunggu cooes as he lightly shakes your thigh. sleep got the best of you, so with your head leant against the car window, you dozed off waiting until you finally reached wherever hyunggu was taking you.

your eyes flickered open to reveal a large open field. just over the horizon you could see a small pond and a few trees.

"oh god where did you take me" you asked hyunggu in suspicion of the empty landscape.

"we are going on a picnic!! lets go!" he exclaims as he hopped out of the car and headed toward the trunk; you following suit. he pulled out a large basket and you laughed.

"is this what youve been doing all morning"

"yup" he says and he smiles up at you, raising his hand into your view, hinting for you to hold it. you smiled at his antics and intertwinded your fingers, heading into the field.

after enjoying some of hyunggu's home cooked meals you both decided to lie down for a nap. he laid on his side, arm folded under his head as you did the same. you sat like that in silence, only the sound of birds and the soft hum of the wind passed through your hearing. he slowly raised his hand to your cheek to rub against the soft skin. with a hand still remaining on your cheek, he pulled you closer into his chest, placed a lingering kiss to your forehead and mumbling a soft 'i love you' into your hair.

he would wake up as soon as he heard your stressed whines. he would quickly wrap his arms around you and hold your head to his chest; placing soft kisses to the crown of your head and whispering reassuring words. his arms would stay around you like this until your breathing finally slowed and you fell back to sleep.

seonghwa:

would probably be as panicked as you when he first heard you scream and shoot up off of your pillow. he would quickly sit up with you, lie his hands on your shaking ones, and ask you whats wrong in the most hushed tone. if all you could get out where sobs he would pull you into his chest and rub slow circles onto your back until you finally calmed down.

yunho:

as soon as you woke up, he would turn all the lights on in your room and rush into your bathroom to retrieve a cool towel to place on your overheating forehead. he would then lay back next to you and rub your cheek with the back of his fingers while quietly singing until you fell back asleep. he would then turn all the lights back off, remove the towel from your head and pull you close.

yeosang:

remains calm the whole time. reassures you over and over that everything will be okay now that hes there by your side. he would pull you in close to his chest, place lingering kisses to your forehead and rub up and down your back slowly. hed make sure not to fall asleep until he was positive you were well asleep.

san:

once he heard your crying, he immediately woke up and pulled you into his arms. he didnt even need to know the reason why you were crying, all he cared was that you could finally be safe in his arms. he wouldnt let go of you until you both woke up the next morning and he made sure you were 100% okay after all that happened during the night.

mingi:

he felt you squirming next you him in bed and instantly felt panicked. as soon as you started screaming hed turn and try to shake you awake. as tears started to brim your eyes he pulled you directly into his chest, hand against the back of your head. hed hold you like that until the shaking and sobs stopped. hed then cupped your face with his hands and placed loud smooches all over bringing a smile to your face instantly. hed do everything after that to cheer you up and have you laugh again.

wooyoung:

hed hold you so tight, both arms wrapped around your back and head nuzzled tightly into the crook of your neck. hed whisper that everything is going to be okay in your ear until your sobs stopped. hed want to sit there with you and talk it out with you before you went back to sleep and could potentially continue the dream.

jongho:

i feel like he would instantly know what to do. hed take all the blankets off of your sweaty form and tie your hair back for you. hed sit there rubbing your back until you finally calmed down. hed then pull you into his chest and back down against the bed, singing softly to you until you fell back asleep.

[ 8:56 pm ] you were sitting on sans lap, arms wrapped snuggly around your waist. his chin was rested on your shoulder as you both watched the movie that was playing on the screen infront of you. neither of you could name the title of the movie, but neither of you could care either. it was one of the only days san has received time off since you started dating over a year ago, so all that matter was you were finally in eachothers arms.

in a particularly graphic part of the movie, he ducked his head into the crook of your neck causing you to flinch at the feeling of his hair against your skin. he looks up at you with a smile.

"did that tickle, princess?" he asks through a stifled laugh.

"no.. i was just scared... because of the movie" you quickly covered adverting your eyes back to the screen.

"mhmmm" he hummed in denial as he placed his head back in the crook of your neck,, the feeling of the vibrations from his lips danced down your spine. you quickly retreated into yourself pulling your hand to cover your neck as fell off of his lap and onto the couch.

"god youre so cute" he gushes as he pushes your over slightly until hes rested fully on top of you. he started with soft kisses on your forehead until he made sure he didnt miss an inch of your countenance; taking a second inbetween each to glance back down at your face. once finished with your face, he began trailing slow kisses down your jawline until finally he reached your neck. you flinched again causing a new laugh to escape sans lips. he didnt stop planting kisses on your neck for each time he would be rewarded with your honey like laugh.
