so i thought "i wanna create a character that looks like it's a souls' boss or npc"
and that's how it started:

but then i thought "i like the skeleton but you know what i like more? cool dangerous women with weapons"
and this is how it ended:

and even if she has nothing to do with souls games i love her with all my heart anyway.

you've probably been asked this question a hundred times, but I can't find anything by searching your blog, so here goes
what are your most frequently used procreate brushes? (not heavypaint) im always looking for new ones to play around with, and your textures and renders look fun. even if the answer is "a simple round brush" id love to try them if you can share, I've found that subtle variations matter a lot to how it feels to use one
hi! guess i could just write them all down here for you!
here’s the link to our lord and saviour maxpack‘s oil set: https://maxpacks.com/oil-maxpack
i mostly use two brushes from this set, specifically „turpentine sketch“ and „clean oil round“, and also the „form smudge“.
i also have this sketching set: https://fatimamandouh.gumroad.com/l/gsobxf
and this: https://ko-fi.com/s/f90edb7d6b
and when it comes to the standard procreate brushes, i usually use the slightly modified version of the „streaks“ brush (meaning, i just turned down the amount of its streamline to zero in its settings). it looks especially good with lowered opacity!

„wet acrylic“ is worth mentioning too, but i don’t use it that much these days.
guess that’s it! hope that helps :)

Tell me, please, can I use this art as a basis for embroidery? Not for sale, for yourself https://www.tumblr.com/martyfive/783534069519646720/free-as-a-bird
absolutely! and thank you for asking! it would be an honour to see the final piece when it’s done, too :)
