kinda wanna make a meta on grisha but also worried that it may get a negative reaction.
#mainly on the abuse scale ahsdfjgk#its difficult to explain but I don't like it when people call grisha abusive to eren because yeah. I get that the needle scene isn't what a#parent should do to their child - it's not okay and it should not have happened.#but in my opinion. grisha didn't SOLELY bring eren into the world just to give him the burden of carrying the attack titan.#its stated clearly in his talk with kruger about how kruger chose grisha for a quality. and yes grisha told eren for this quality to#but that doesn't mean he decided to have a kid just for this reason.#we're forgetting that grisha still had about a year or so left ? ( I read that somewhere. )#and grisha had chosen eren the night the wall fell down because that was his only choice#I mean yes in some ways maybe he did choose eren before. but he did want to explain it to him like kruger did him. if eren had said no in a#time where they were safe. and everyone knew what was going on. and grisha didn't know whether he'd be captured or that the attack titan#would be taken back. maybe he would have agreed to erens choices.#I'm not saying that that gives him a reason to do what he did. what I'm saying is that there are so many factors that CAN be looked over#and to me that's hurtful and annoying that people can preach not to reduce characters to one thing#and then do the same for others#tbd in 5 /#₀₀₀.┊MUN┊ muses that butter my eggroll [ ooc. ]
