The Hunt for Passion

Hi Everyone,

We have always heard people say, "Follow your passion everything will fall into its place". We have come across lots of movies, persons, books  saying how important it is to have a passion. They also add happiness comes after following your passion.

But In reality most of us do not know what we are passionate about. This blog is completely dedicated to those who are not aware what their passion is. To add, I am one of them. At the same time, we have always been thrown into a dogma that if we don’t find our passion , our life is completely useless and a failure. But in reality that’s not true.

The pressure really starts young in our Indian Society. In Schools ,as we move from one grade to the other , we are asked only one question, “ What’s your ambition?” in our first day sessions .While Everyone in the class would come up with an answer, I was always in the pressure of giving a compelling answer.  We have been brought up in a forceful culture to choose our passion. Definitely, I was one among them.

As  an ambitionless person in the society, it is the point in our life where People try to take control over our life and put us in the trap of being common. Just do the courses the others do, earn and repeat. Then our college life becomes the reason to get showered in the morning, eat and repeat.  The same continued in Interviews, as "What are up to in the next 5 years ?"while I am still in the search of finding my passion. This’s the point in life when we  feel  tired with our own life, in not being unique and feeling worthless. To put in simple words, we do not know what to do with life.

But in reality we are not stuck with life. We are stuck with a narrow vision of finding our passion at one place. Passion is not a sport, not starting a business but it is a feeling of happiness. It keeps changing. Keep your mind open and find opportunities everywhere and not at one fixed place. The lines " You don't create live and then live it. You create life by living it" make more sense to me now than ever. Perhaps you will miss out a great love and great career because of  your Tunnelled vision of searching.

Every business, every learning finally ends with “ Helping others”  and with our Happiness in doing so. It is not the money  that you make out of it but  the happiness of creating it( Just as I created this blog). That’s how you shed the veil of illusion in getting fame and getting rich. Find your most favourite problem and try solving it in your own terms, if not find a new one. Be useful. GO WITH YOUR CRAZY THOUGHTS. Be with the flow. BEING YOU is definitely heaven down on the earth. Use joy as your compass in leading a happy life. It is the whole energy and attention, that when driven to one cause will make People love you, hug you and even pay you for it, That’s where passion lives.

I am not sure of what these webinars and conferences deal with in motivating others. For me it is just a myth. It all starts with being aware of ourselves. BE AWARE WHAT THE REAL PASSION IS!!!! IT IS THE LIFE ITSELF.
