She drops her gaze to the floor, unable to keep herself from sobbing. The floodgates are open. The fear, the anxiety, the confusion, everything that she’s felt since the Doctor was trapped in the basement… it was all too much. She doesn’t even try to stop herself from crying. She hugs herself and just sobs.

“Wh- why is he doing this? Why can’t they just- let you go??”
