Happy 1st Anniversary!
One year! It doesn’t seem like it’s been a year already, but then as the cliche says “Time flies when you’re having fun.”
I don’t have enough words to write here to do adequate justice to the pure joy and happiness that being honored with a partner like Ale brings into my life. From the first time we met at Mad World those years ago until this very moment, she has been irreplaceable. Starting out as an acquaintance, then becoming a friend, and now she stands by me as the most amazing partner I could have ever imagined. Her happiness is my first priority. My happiness is hers. My heart is hers, as beaten up and broken as it used to be.
One year, baby! That doesn’t sound like a very long time sometimes, but it’s an accomplishment. You’ve put up with me for one solid year! LOL!
Thank you for loving me, Aleriah. Thank you for the good times, and thank you for your love during the hard times. I am truly the luckiest.
I love you more than words and look forward to all the good things to come!

Happy New Year
Sometimes things seem to work out the way they should. At the beginning of the year, we had no idea what 2020 would turn out to be. It was definitely a roller coaster in every sense of the word. To those who lost people to the pandemic in RL, you have my truest condolences. To those who battled the illness, you’re champions. To every one of us who dealt with all the insanity that was 2020, we made it through. Perhaps we didn’t make it through unscathed, but we made it through!
I have to say that 2020 has been the best year for me in Second Life. While 2019 was freeing in many ways, 2020 was when I learned to embrace that freedom and finally enjoy everything around me. I have never enjoyed Second Life with the fullness it deserves until this past year. Being surrounded by true friends who support my successes, encourage me in my failures, and embrace fun have been more than I could have imagined.
Having Ale in my life has been a game-changer. She is truly a blessing from above. Her gentle ways counterpoint my more unfiltered ones. Her kindness and thoughtfulness have been a godsend. I have never known anyone like her, and I am thankful that she is a part of my life. 2020 was good to us. I asked her to be my partner in January, we were partnered in an amazing ceremony attended by our friends (who have become like family) in February, we have had ups and downs, and some amazing getaways. We have enjoyed good music (and sometimes bad music too LOL). She has encouraged me as I have worked to improve my inworld photography. She has listened with a patient and caring ear as I have worked through some traumas of my past and has held my hand as I have overcome them and put them behind me. She worked with me on Wooley Swamp, laughing with me as we sought to bring the vision in my head to Second Life. I don’t think she realized that I’d done so much research on what I wanted the region to look like until I started trying to MAKE things for it. Poor Ale. LOL! She stayed cool, calm and collected even as I accidentally deleted almost half the region... 2 days before opening! She has taught me to love Second Life again in every way. She has made 2020 the best year for me. Ale did that. I cannot claim credit for it on my own.
As 2021 starts, I look forward to the challenges and victories to come. I look forward to hanging out with our friends, making new friends, making new discoveries, and simply enjoying everything that Second Life can be.
I hope that everyone reading this has an awesome 2021. It’s here whether we are ready for it or not.

Starting New Traditions in the Place Where It All Began
Ale and I attended the lighting of the Christmas Tree at Calas Galadhon tonight. Calas is very special to us for many reasons, the main one being that I asked her to be my partner in the Christmas Pavilion at the beginning of the year. 2020 has been crazy, but it has been awesome as well.
I look forward to what 2021 holds for Ale and me.

Letting Go...
Ale had to laugh at me today, because I got slightly choked up as we dismantled the Wooley Swamp region.
Wooley Swamp was a project that I never thought that I would ever see made reality, and when it came time to bring it all down and close the sim, it was bittersweet. My past attempt at creating a Halloween-themed sim was a miserable failure, having never really even gotten off the ground before it all came crashing down, but this time... I was able to bring my vision to life, and without Ale’s help, it would never have happened. We work really well together on projects such as this, and I am blessed to have her.

Success of the Swamp
Ale and I were surprised to be contacted by Saffia Widdershins, the creator and host of Designing Worlds, a SL based design and creator production. She wanted to feature Wooley Swamp in one of her episodes. We had a lot of fun working with her and her associates in their visits and in the recording of the feature.
I have said it before, but I have been utterly mindblown that the Swamp has had such an incredible reception. I never thought that everyone would like it as much as they have. I am going to miss it when the season is over.
Halloween has always been my favorite time of the year in SL and working with Ale on the Swamp has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had in SL.

Soda in The Swamp!
We were honored to be able to host one of Soda’s sets over at Wooley Swamp. Anyone who knows me knows that Soda is, by far, my favorite DJ in SL. The tunes she spun were incredible, as usual. The region was packed with revelers and good friends. It was a great time and a well attended event.

Rage and Aorta played an amazing set at Wooley Swamp tonight! Two hours of the best spooky, bayou beats that put everyone in the mood to explore the sim.
Ale looked smoking hot in her little witchy attire! Everyone turned out in great costumes! It was good to party with friends.

Grateful
The Legend of Wooley Swamp has been one of the best experiences of my Second Life. Aleriah worked so hard helping me get everything put together, and Quron and Amaya were integral in making my vision come to life.
However, what I wasn’t prepared for was the response from the residents of Second Life. They have embraced and shared the sim over the last 9 days, and I am frankly completely blown away.

A Spooky Awesome Night
The day that the sim opened, our good friend, ColeMarie Soleil, went by to check it out. She immediately fell in love with it and asked us if she could play a set there. She is an incredibly talented and mindblowingly incredible DJ and creator in SL, so we didn’t hesitate to tell her yes. She worked day and night preparing for her show. It was truly mesmerizing to watch her as she fine-tuned her performance.
Tonight, we held the first of many special events at The Legend of Wooley Swamp. ColeMarie performed a stunning music and particle show, that left me speechless. The turnout was incredible! We were very pleased and glad that ColeMarie was able to perform. Her entire set and performance were BEYOND top notch!
Even Lucius got in on the fun!
