Something about Matt Murdock wearing red glasses makes me insane. He's wearing rose colored glasses for a world he cannot see. He's said himself "I'm blind to a perfect world, I will never see it", but he wears the glasses anyway. Just like how he keeps fighting, despite everything that happens to him and because of him he will always fight for the better world and never stop. The blind man wears rose colored glasses for a world he wishes to see

do you think matt and mike have similar voices bc in my head mike has the thicker ny accent because he doesn't have to code switch nearly as often as matt (who code switches for his job) but matt has a more raspy and deep voice than mike. like foggy has legitimately told mike he sounds like 'a 16 year old boy who hangs out in places he shouldn't' and mike just deadpans, "that was literally me." and now it's a whole thing because foggy took it as 'mike's voice hasn't changed since he was a little teenager doing things to spite his dad'

what can i say i can’t get him out of brain [ID: 3 colored sketches I made of Mike Murdock, redrawing some of his panel from the comic. The first one shows him leaning against a chair, pretending to be passed out while the caption reads: panicking internally. I also added a bruise on his face where Matt had punched him, which the comic panel didn’t show, for the effect and because I like drawing wounds. The second one shows him in a different scene where he’s looking surprised, comically so with exaggerated expressions, saying: “Hoooooooooly shit!” I’m also told this drawing makes you wanna punch him when I showed this to a friend. They’ve never read DD. Anyway so!! The third one shows him lying on the floor, wearing his Matt Murdock vest, red tinted glasses almost fallen out and he’s grinning. The sketches have an overall light and cartoonish tone, reddish and blue hue, and I tend to draw his hair a little more ruffled than the original panels. I also add a bit freckles on all of them. He looks like the taste of fruit ice-cream if that makes sense? Kinda light and icey with a bit flavor. end ID]

Soule making Mike a real boy was a mistake because Matt was right and his twin brother DOES overshadow him. I read Daredevil comics for Mike now.
